They wired mine tight. The sneezes were really bad news though - especially the sudden ones when you didn't grab the pillow in time.

The bewildering power of social media. Can't asses facial and body language. Unfortunately it can easily create negative discourse. 100 years from now, it might be viewed as the catalyst to one of our most divisive times in history

Pretty unpopular opinion nationwide and on here. You cool with every felon getting all rights back post time served? I just don't think it will ever fly in most states. Hence the non-violent compromise.

That’s exactly it. The majority of communication is unspoken.

written by itself is inflammatory as hell. Spoken in person with somebody laughing while saying it and pouring another beer is a completely different context. Or... it could be an angry statement with finger pointing in the face. Just written by itself it’s hard to tell. And on social media in a debate I guess it’s kinda natural to assume the worst. It took me a long time to get any kind of handle on it. And it moves really fast in this forum we get a lot of latitude in here.

There was a comment that masks have reduced us to dogs without tails - same with social media. Hard to tell when somebody is serious if you can't see the schiff eating grin.

It isn’t a popular topic for sure. And when you consider victim or family input it gets cloudy. Forgive and forget is a noble concept but not one many can practice. Thus the non violent compromise as you’ve said and its the safe political platform too. Frankly a lot revolves around the individual. Should Manson ever have been cleared and released?

It’s a tough concept but one I wish we would try and err on the side of the individual being cleared.

I had one of the very best cardiovascular surgeons in the country. I think glueing was relatively new at the time and this surgeon was in a teaching mode, for which I am ok. I know the margin for error was much less than traditional stitching or stapling. Everything else was perfect

Liability is decided by courts. If the issue were really unsettled, this “debate” would be happening in front of a judge.

In other words, if there was a legit issue, somebody would sue.

It’s just playing to folks to like to cry about a perceived grievance, which is a big part of the current Republican base.
