Speaking of solicitors general for the State of Texas, the current Solicitor General for Texas, who would typically be involved in the state's Supreme Court cases, did not put his name on the lawsuit that was filed last night. Take it for what you will.

I would guess Paxton would do that since it’s state vs state but not really sure. I can assure you the solicitor general is in line with the AG that appointed him or somebody else would be appointed
