The trade off deal for Mitch dumping Trump was keeping the Senate and the gains in the house. That's just US politics as usual. Gridlock will prevail. Now, what to do with those pesky conspiracy theorists.

Ben Sasse is right. It's political cowardice. Republicans are afraid of being tweeted at by Trump, and then getting challenged in their next primary election. Trump has hijacked the Republican party and carried it into the land of conspiracy theories and extremism. Most Republican members of Congress don't really want to go there, but they don't have the backbone to stand up for what they truly believe.

And if the judge tosses the case because he is unwilling to accept unsourced Redit posts, along with improper paperwork, and lawyers unwilling to actually stick by the charges they are leveling, then clearly the judge is a deep state stooge.
