2020 Presidential Race

The phone call by Trump released today, where he just cites hearsay and refuses to admit reality, then threatens people, is very disturbing. It suggests he actually does intend to go down in flames on this and to take everyone else with him. He is unbalanced. They need to invoke the 25th and get the man some help.

Cameltoe is saving the 25th for when they flush Bidet, and she takes over.

OK, I'll try and explain it to you. The first Lin Wood case (not a Trump case at all). He alleged that his equal protection was violated. The judge ruled no standing because he stated that if what alleged is true, all voters would be wronged equally. No standing means no evidence is to be presented. You need to educate yourself about no standing in court vs disproven by merrit.
My favorite isn't when a Trump case is just dismissed, but dismissed with prejudice.

Yeah, that’s why they were dismissed with prejudice. You rarely see cases that weak even brought before a judge.
You can't bring any substance to a conversation, that's what is weak. When you can understand that no standing means no evidence is to be presented. Until then, saying evidence has been presented is just a lie.

I’ll stick to my original statement, defending a loser so fervently at this point is sad. As UT fans, we all know this reality well.

No, that's a lie. There have been state legislative hearings in all of these swing states with expert witness testimony.
Then why can't they convince conservative judges with their mountains of evidence? Maybe you know better than all the judges (including conservative ones) around the country.where'd you get you law degree again?

Just when you think Donald Trump's conduct can't get any more inappropriate and unprofessional than it already has been for the last four years ... he adds election interference to his list of lies, acts of self-enrichment, abuses of power, conflicts of interest, and other such misdeeds.
If Trump were a poster on this thread, he'd rank amongst the dumbest

A hearing should involve the cross examination of witnesses and a critical analysis of evidence. There has been very little of that. The events you are referring to, are more accurately described as being propaganda platforms for Republicans who are sympathetic to Trump.

Thousands of affidavits, counting in middle of the night after a supposed pipe burst and evacuation, boxes pulled from under a drapped table...If in our shoes, what would you think?

Don't you suppose that dem legislators who would in theory ask the most critical questions have been told to stay away from the hearings - that their presence would legitimize the proceedings. The entire response from start to finish has been to ignore, ignore, ignore. The courts use standing to ignore what they don't want to hear.

Occam's Razor - when presented with a set of increasingly complex solutions to a question, the simplest solution is most often the right one.

As for party policy and polity, neither of the major parties have persuaded me that they are worthy to govern. Nor have they convinced me that their core values are anything but a plaque on the wall at their respective HQs.

Those of us tired of this baloney ever two years need to put further a viable big tent option that takes the best of the right and the left and leaves their bickering and squabbling behind.

I dont disagree, but denying the Feds the power to control with a national mandate and trillions of dollars is the answer. 50 little experiments.
