If we make half the "crap" China's making for us then profit margins will significantly dip for many of our corporations. It's absolutely a "catch 22" situation for us.

That's why you tariff foreign companies to a level where competition is fair. I don't mind paying more for TV. Wages will increase and we won't be so dependent on China. It would all work out.

all caps to emphasize the urgency for which we need to tighten up our outlays to them. Advise them on becoming more self sufficient. Make it a requirement to be willing to listen to and implement our policy changes

You would just move the goal posts again. There is no set of conditions that could be achieved, under which Donald Trump would ever acknowledge that he lost a free and fair election. Donald Trump will always claim that the outcome of any defeat was the result of voter fraud. That is what narcissists do... while Trump's supporters never seem to tire of this very predictable, boring and egotistical exercise.

(2) In a pair of Tweets sent on February 3, 2016, Donald Trump accused the Ted Cruz campaign of "cheating" in order to win the Iowa Caucuses during the 2016 Republican Party Primary:

"Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!"

"Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucuses, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified."

Why is it wrong? Never in my life have I saw a greater need for divided government then I do now. Both parties have collectively joined hands on behalf of screwing the people. I want them to hate each other.

That article neglects to make one very important point about the 2000 Presidential Election, and the subsequent certification of the 2000 Electoral College Votes:

On January 6, 2001, Vice President Al Gore was responsible for the Electoral College Vote count, and despite other Democrats in Congress objecting on his behalf, he still certified his own narrow defeat anyway. In fact, Al Gore's defeat in the Electoral College in the 2000 Presidential Election was much closer than Donald Trump's defeat in 2020. Gore lost by only 5 Electoral College Votes.

In the 20 years since his defeat, Al Gore has never described the outcome of the 2000 Presidential Election as being illegitimate. Other people have on his behalf... but Gore has not.
