Anyone can be deputized. This gives them the right to see the data as the SOS's attorney. Don't complain about people not accepting election results when it's a known fact that information is being whithheld. It's on the audio recording.

I don't know if they can or not. Typically a government functionary like that deputizes their employees. Maybe it's still like Gunsmoke and Sheriff Raffensperger can get him a posse of Trump lawyers together and go round up all them illegal votes, but "can" and "should" are two different things. Treat Trump like anybody else and let him get his information through legitimate court discovery or whatever freedom of information venues he has.

Also, who's trying to sue a state entity? They are requesting info so it can be investigated. I've said this many times before, I'll try to convey it again. All of you can try to make this about Trump, but it's not. There is an America first movement in this country. This movement will not accept elections being ran like this. They will vote in candidates that support things that are important to them. It's never going to stop, no matter how much you whine about it.

If he doesn't have a pending lawsuit, I see no reason why he gets to run around demanding protected information just because he found some obituaries for John Smith in the newspaper. It's about Trump because he's the one on the phone call.

They aren't looking for the truth. They're looking for a way--and Trump himself already stated this--to get the 11,000+ votes he needs to win the state. That's not America first. He's convinced there was voter fraud even though he has nothing but wild conspiracy theories and conjecture to base it on. These are not the conditions necessary to start another investigation. They've already audited and recounted the GA election results. They've investigated credible concerns. In other words, they've done their due diligence.

That's because the Republican party is in a crisis of identity. Trump's faction is struggling to maintain control over the regular party. But I think they've learned their lesson and won't make this mistake again. Once Trump is officially out of office, the Republican party will put some controls in place to prevent another Trump cult figure, incompetent and unbalanced as he is, from doing this to us all again.
