As opposed to the positive message of the smiling Trump? Give me a break... Trump maintains the same dour and negative message. Everything is an attack. The most entertaining President that we have ever had. The candidates are your side are all angry. I believe that the only 2 that I have seen smile are Booker and Biden.
What he is actually saying is uncomfortable to listen to. This has been 1.5 hours of incessant, unending lies and selfish boasting. God King Trump on full shameful, disrespectful display. He speaks with a drab and dull cadence and he never breaks from it. It is the same monotone speech every time and it's uncomfortable to listen to.
Lying. That is called lying.Trump supporters figured out long ago that he uses bravado and hyperbole, or as he calls it "innocent exaggeration", in most everything he says. I wonder if Dems are ever going to figure it out?
Guess we know who kept Art of The Deal on top of the best seller list for 44 weeks and who hasn't read it..lol
Trump's message, whether it is given on Twitter or in a speech follows the same 3 points:What he is actually saying is uncomfortable to listen to. This has been 1.5 hours of incessant, unending lies and selfish boasting. God King Trump on full shameful, disrespectful display.
We have a Trump supporter (apparently?), who is extolling the virtues of honesty... I've heard it all now. Are you kidding me? The cognitive dissonance among the right is staggering. Trump weaves a tapestry of lies on a daily basis.Speaking the truth, roughly or not, is what this country needs. The people who dont like the truth are the people the truth takes down
He is the first President that I have been able to sit through his entire speech. Very motivating. Leaves you wanting more.We have a Trump supporter (apparently?), who is extolling the virtues of honesty... I've heard it all now. Are you kidding me? The cognitive dissonance among the right is staggering. Trump weaves a tapestry of lies on a daily basis.
Trump supporters have made this bizarre equation that being nasty and negative and saying things outside the boundaries of good taste and professional decorum is somehow refreshing and "telling it like it is".... Whether or not a single word of it is accurate, is completely immaterial. In my lifetime of 69 years, no matter who has been the President has been, there hasn't been a tremendous difference in my life. Therefore, I least want one who is entertaining.
Trump's message, whether it is given on Twitter or in a speech follows the same 3 points:
1) There is always a laundry list of grievances that inevitably includes the phrases "witch hunt" and "hoax".
2) There will be personal attacks and insults against democrats and attacks against what he perceives to be "democratic" states and cities. He is not and has never been interested in governing the states which don't vote for him.
3) Although, he has plenty of positives to point to in economic growth and low unemployment, he insists on embellishing the truth with hyperbole and always making it completely about himself. Also, he will cite low black unemployment as a sign that he is not a racist... as though, if he was a racist, blacks would have higher unemployment? It's a bizarre equation.
If your point is that the press corps feeds it, and they could go a long way to killing his message if they didn't cover what he posts to his Twitter feed? I agree. Trump doesn't hold press conferences anymore. There are no daily press briefings and most of his interviews are with friendly hosts on Fox News. If the press just didn't cover his tweets??? Trump would have a much harder time getting a message (any message) out to anyone who doesn't watch Fox.4) Trump is going to play the media like a puppet through the weekend
