2020 Presidential Race

I don't normally waste time correcting that guy, but one thing he said there is simply dishonest and Republicans continue to repeat it. This is from the Associated Press:

"President Donald Trump and his Veteran's Affairs secretary are claiming credit for health care improvements that were underway before they took office. Trump said he passed a private-sector health care program, Veteran's Choice, after failed attempts by past presidents for the last "45 years". That is not true. The Choice program, which allows veterans to see doctor's outside the government-run VA system at taxpayer expense, was first passed in 2014 under President Barack Obama. Also, same-day mental health services at VA were started during the Obama administration." - by Hope Yen and Calvin Woodward of 'The Associated Press' on May 28, 2019

So, basically, Charlie Kirk's claim that Democrat's priorities are for "Healthcare for illegals but not for our veterans" was obviously based on what he has heard in Trump speeches... and it's a lie. Charlie Kirk is an idiot who posts easily rebuked messages all day long on Twitter. @hjeagle1vol posts many of them here. They are obnoxious with how wrong they are. You need a better source for your info, dude.

I have never said that Russia's disinformation campaign on social media had any impact on the way people voted. I don't see that argument being made very much anymore - anywhere.

I don’t see how it could in such a divided race as 2016. It would have probably had better luck with the standard run of the mill election cycle . In 2016 you either voted for the one you were going to anyway or you didn’t vote . ( just my opinion )

You should have your other account be conservative , you could argue with this one and if it gets too heated freak could ban it for being abusive and you could claim the moral high ground . You could always make it be a right leaning libertarian to counter Huff and argue his points , or be Apolitical to cover whatever PJ is . 😂

Mayor Pete Should Probably Drop Out Already

Many agree that there are way too many white dudes running for president in the Democratic primary. As the third round of debates draws near, some Democrats are beginning to wonder why some of the low-polling vanity candidates shouldn't quit the presidential race and run for a statewide office they might actually have a shot at winning.

Buttigieg is the ideal vanity candidate for rich white liberals with graduate degrees. He dominates in the "boat shoe" strongholds of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, and Cape Cod. He speaks obscure languages and plays the didgeridoo, because of course he does. And yet he's still trailing frontrunner Joe Biden by 25 points, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average. In fact, Mayor Pete is only a couple points ahead of Beto at this point. The latest Fox News poll has him tied with Andrew Yang at 3 percent.

Buttigieg doesn't have to stay in Indiana and run for governor, but if Democrats are interested in aggressively winnowing the enormous field of presidential candidates, what exactly is the point of keeping Buttigieg over Yang? Why not just accept the fact that they're probably going to be stuck with Biden and hope he doesn't blow it like Hillary did?

Mayor Pete Should Probably Drop Out Already
I suppose he's hanging on hoping to slip in the back door. ;)
