I know people have been complaining about the number of commercials, and yes, there are way too many, but I really like the good sportsmanship commercial.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but with team of 4 does the lowest score not get dropped? Meaning effectively Biles got 0.0, but her score was dropped.

If that is correct, I fail to understand the "helped her team" take. Basically, as she got zeroes the other three scores had to count, correct? How does this help them??

I believe that’s the case only in qualifying. In finals only 3 from each country participate and all 3 scores count

I don’t really understand how we couldn’t get a men’s team to qualify for this. I think it would be cool if they limited it to college players. Did I hear it that Robbie Hummel, who is an ESPN commentator was on the team attempting to qualify??

No idea. When I heard someone on TV mention that the US didn't qualify, I said "wut," wondering if I had misheard.
