All I know is supposedly it’s rare to have vaccinated people test positive but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Interesting.

I know you meant no harm but It’s getting to be a slippery slope talking about COVID vaccinations and what not, let’s steer clear of that debate on the Baseball Forum.

Well Vandy had literally nothing to do with any of this. They lost one of their best starting pitchers to covid nonsense this season, a false positive that ended up costing him the season. They may be the only Sec school to lose a player from this BS.

I get the frustration but you play the games and the teams presented to you. They literally have no choice.

I hate Vandy as much as the next guy, but I can’t lay this mess at their feet. Now if Corbin got word of a few NCST players being unvaccinated and demanded tests and then a retest, then my thoughts on him really take a huge plunge. I honestly just wanted to see their hopes and dreams crushed by a 13 man, Wolfpack squad.

Totally agree, it sucks for NC State! If that would have been UT, we never would’ve lived it down.

Until it starts getting personal…when that happens the main point of topic is never discussed again and you just went down a path you can’t get back up on. A discussion is worthy about the topic and how it was handled by the NCAA by all means.

Thing is though, I don't see this as a political issue. I'm saddened how it has taken over our lives. It did under Trump. It still is under Biden. It's a bipartican virus that is destroying lives mentally and physically.

I honestly shed a tear hearing Vitello talk about dealing with covid.

I agree with you. When our main scientists are political hacks then we have a problem. And super smart folks are being silenced so fear can flourish is how we got here.

Unfortunately anything can be screwed up by Covid. NC State is living this hell right now.

I still stand by my point. Everyone in the Vandy dugout knows they didnt beat a full strength NC state team and they damn sure didn’t do it twice.

Listening to Vitello talk about the isolation in his condo just so he could coach this team....damn, I have mad respect. Young successful, good looking guy sacrificing his social life. This thing has been literal hell on our youth and elderly.

Indeed. I so enjoyed seeing the crowds late in the season and post season at LNS. I had forgotten how much they had to go through just to play most of the season.
