2022 Recruits

and Kellie is in on some really really good PGs for 2023 considering she got Horston in 19, Walker in 20, and Miles on 21 she may address other issues and revisit it in 23

I thought Jordan W's and Rae's eligibility is over at the conclusion of the upcoming season.

they could stay if they wanted.

But what i was saying is she got a PG in 3 straight classes so if she didn't get one in the 22 class i could understand. BUT we are on Coopers list so we might get a PG in 22

I agree with you about 2023 pg`s. But if you can get a good quality pg in 22 why not ? As i said before you can`t keep kicking the can down the road. Because the is no guarantees we will get a elite pg ?. Other teams are in the same market as TN for the top players. And to be fair to Miles i don`t post about her because i don`t know much about her and never seen her play. Yes we have Horston and she can play the pg spot but let`s make no mistake she has problems there with turnovers at times. She turns the ball over less when she play the 2 or 3. This is just my opinion.

Check out Cooper's twitter feed and see if you get an inkling where she is going.

First of all …. Nobody has signed for 2022 at UT ! She gave a verbal commitment which is non binding. I have seen more recruits ranking go down verses up when considering Tennessee ! Now if you want to talk about a university’s ability to increase rankings…. Uconn, South Carolina, Notre Dame , Stanford , etc . Tennessee ….. not so much . Just my Opinion
She loves Kellie and UT.

All i'm saying is if we don't get a PG this class i'm not worried because we have PGs on the team. Other needs we can fill like wing scorers. If we get a player that fits great if not for that position i'm ok.

Saniah Tyler would have been cool but she ended up not fitting it seems.

No clue... what do u think ?

There is a lot of Gamecock stuff on there if you scroll through enough. That is probably what they are saying, though for the life of me I can't figure out why they wouldn't just come out and say it instead of making everyone go look.

That was this past summer ? Wow... she has been working on developing her game 👀

NOT saying she is the savior but she will come in with skill sets to help the team. Pretty cool to see she is developing a well rounded game.

Maybe this last tourney she was featured in a different role. I know their big went out with an injury later in the tourney and she played down low some.

Regardless thank you for posting this and keep working justine

We definitely have point guards that can do the job. The question still remains will they be able to do it like the team needs it done. They failed in a couple key categories last season. They are both older, wiser, been in the system longer so they should be better. Their key failure was offensively to many shot attempts for the points they scored. That is where if were to win more games they have to improve a lot. Walker has to be a better shooter and make free throws. Horston can make free throws adequately, but from the field not scoring enough for the amount of shots she attempted.

I think if she looks at the rosters her best bet is Tennessee. She could get huge playing time as a freshman might even start.

She has some other schools she could play right away. especially if she chose a place like VTech. I believe she would play at Ole Miss or Fl St too.

Well she has been in the lab working... i know it's only a short clip but her shot looks a little more fluid

The young lady appears to be one hell of a fine pg....Is her knee injured, or is it expected to heal with a little rest?

She has all the needed pg attributes; great handles, drives the lane, sees the floor for the open player, a very good passer, nice outside shot, and protects the ball.

Have we offered?
Oh GT and she can finish with the left

Key and Horston have to shine they are Juniors now. Freshman is a learning experience then there is usually the uneven sophomore season. Junior season you either have it or you don't that is where they are next season.

I agree. IMO, they will bring it this season. Rae, Jordan and Tamari will be our big 3 and we'll see who steps up to claim the other two spots. There will be no shortage of players this season barring injury.

Justine is going to be the straw that stirs the drink.....When she gets use to TBA and the other SEC venues, she will become all that we hope she can be; a difference maker.

All she will have to do is pop a few deep 3 balls and the defense will have to come out to stop her, which will open up the post game, like a can opener opening a can of tuna, which Key and Striplin will feast on.

This girl would be such a great addition....Really hate to see her get away.

GT my brother called me and said you need to watch this pg #5 Yonta Vaughn at Bishop McNamara i said ok i will check her out. He also said her Coach said she is under rank ? My opinion i agree to. I agree with you 100% on your post.
