Why when you have at minimum four players on the roster that cannot play at this level? At all. She needs to be recruiting over.

that was the mistake CHW made, , , recruiting and then watching them play and then recruiting more,,,not improving what she already had.
Part of coaching is getting the bottom of your roster playing like the top does

Been watching a lot of video on Ms.. Weathers.....The girl can play!!!! Man, she can play!!!!
On her right knee she wears a brace for a knee sprain...Is it serious? Will it require surgery soon? Her legs and body type are fairly thin....Not built for a lot of contact.

Put her with Justine and the rest of our shooters, it might be unfair to the rest of the league....Have fun with it guys...

Coach, when I was at a practice with Holly in charge, and she scolded a girl for shooting the 3 ball (she made it) and told her we get the ball inside at Tennessee, I knew we were doomed...The other girls looked at each other, and the look in their eyes was defeat...

My wife leaned over and told me "let's go" she could not watch this anymore. We stopped going to games after that....

In the "Art of War" it is taught not to use a catapult when your enemy is in hand-to-hand distance. (paraphrased)

The same is true in basketball
If the defense is giving you lanes, drive
if they are giving you post-position, feed the ball inside
if they are collapsing into a close-zone, shoot over it
if they are extending the zone out , backdoor it
If the are holding spaces in their zone, cut into the gaps
But if you stay one dimensional and just yank 3's all day, they never have to adjust bc you didn't.

I think it has to do with her family being huge Bama fans but she hasn't committed there yet so no one really knows for sure what she is going to do.

Weathers will likely end up at Alabama and if she does that will ultimately be on CKH. I was told that the recruiter that built the relationship left for the UK job and has since offered her a scholarship at Kentucky. CKH has apparently dropped the ball on this. Looking at the family pedigree and her skill level, Weathers is a no brainer.
Dad pitched 21 years in the show with 2 World Series Titles.
Brother was drafted #7 overall out of HS in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Mom holds the record at Belmont for made 3’s overall and made 3’s in a season.

This young lady will probably add 15 pounds of muscle over the next 2 years and just schooled one of our top 21 recruits. Why in the hell would CKH not want the #1 2022 recruit in her own state? Beyond me.

This is my 1st in years, my ex took that too.
I am in Murfreesboro and I talk to people that are supposed to be in the know. Am I wrong on this? CKH building that relationship with Weathers ? If so please let us know and I will stand corrected.

Rick maybe I misread your intent. Sorry brother.
I feel solid about my source and I don’t mind giving you my opinion based on that source.
IMO, CKH isn’t recruiting her at all. Also IMO, Weathers is exactly what we need. She has the tools that cannot be taught to go along with the tools that can be polished.

If it works out and she is good enough, I'm sure Kellie will take her. There is a lot to consider. As a fan, I hope Kellie signs the best players that fit our needs. As a Tennessean, I would love it if Weathers was one of them.

Fair enough...
Although from what I am told that bridge may be burnt. It is not a matter of ‘is she good enough’ because her offers from our rivals clearly say she is. The question is, can CKH get her now that her recruiter has moved on to coach Kentucky. If CKH loses this recruit to an SEC rival (homegrown talent), this says something about CKH not being able to close.

Again, we don’t have this on our team right now. A lady vol that can see the entire floor and make all the passes-can shoot the 3 from long range at a 40% + clip, can handle the ball like a PG. We have a few that can do 1 or 2 of those things but not 1 single player that can do all 3. So that along with her pedigree that I mentioned before, makes her a must get for CKH (IMO).

As other posters have stated according to the extra year of eligibility if everyone returned, we would have only 2 spots for 2022 if everyone takes their extra year. So Pissott and one more? Do Burrell and Walker come back?

Not true... NCAA ruled that rosters can exceed the 15 max persons limit to accommodate both newcomers and returners

This post doesn’t make sense considering she has an offer... all she would have to do is say yes. Now as to how bad Kellie wants her there or not is the question of “recruiting”

I wish UT would give Anthony Brown a look at Milan. A athlete we need. Alabama is already ahead of us. They already have offered. We need too put up the fence in Tennessee. I watched all of the State Championship games this weekend. We have several in our State that doesn't need too get out like a Tee Wiggins did. I could go on but this has too stop. Elizabethton, Milan, Trenton Peabody, Alcoa, etc so much talent will exit out. Dang Patrick Willis and Randall Cobb. Its just frustrating too watch talent we have here in our on State goes somewhere other than UT.
