2022 Recruits

I wish UT would give Anthony Brown a look at Milan. A athlete we need. Alabama is already ahead of us. They already have offered. We need too put up the fence in Tennessee. I watched all of the State Championship games this weekend. We have several in our State that doesn't need too get out like a Tee Wiggins did. I could go on but this has too stop. Elizabethton, Milan, Trenton Peabody, Alcoa, etc so much talent will exit out. Dang Patrick Willis and Randall Cobb. Its just frustrating too watch talent we have here in our on State goes somewhere other than UT.

Weathers will likely end up at Alabama and if she does that will ultimately be on CKH. I was told that the recruiter that built the relationship left for the UK job and has since offered her a scholarship at Kentucky. CKH has apparently dropped the ball on this. Looking at the family pedigree and her skill level, Weathers is a no brainer.
Dad pitched 21 years in the show with 2 World Series Titles.
Brother was drafted #7 overall out of HS in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Mom holds the record at Belmont for made 3’s overall and made 3’s in a season.

This young lady will probably add 15 pounds of muscle over the next 2 years and just schooled one of our top 21 recruits. Why in the hell would CKH not want the #1 2022 recruit in her own state? Beyond me.
Are you talking about Kyra? She left Tennessee and went back to Kentucky at the start of the 2016-17 season which would have put Karly in 7th grade. Not many 7th graders are on any college radars unless they’re Azzi Fudd. Kellie offered Karly in July after her freshman year and I’m sure if Karly wants to come to Tennessee, Kellie would welcome her with open arms

There are probably a lot of offers to 2022 recruits, but a lot depends on how hard the coaching staff goes after a player.

Everyone playing this season gets an extra year at the end of their normal eligibility. The ones that take the extra year don't count against the scholarship limit during that extra year.
I have been researching On NCAA’s website to find anything on this subject because someone brought it up on here a few weeks ago, but this is the only thing I was able to find. It looks like it is only above the 15-max for the 2021-2022 season.

We really need a Alpha type player coming in really soon , im not convinced things are turning the corner. Just my opinion , our team chemistry seems to be better but we need to start getting top talent. I saw so many Knoxville girls on Kentucky's team yesterday against Indiana it really depressed me .

Anything new on Ayanna Patterson and KK Bransford?

Or are they gonna wait until the in-person recruiting dead period is lifted?

It's a valid concern. If other Power 5's are getting kids in your county then something is wrong. Can't get all of them, but you have to lock down the majority.

I’m sure the staff has a recruiting plan.

Please share that plan because it was an epic fail last year. Yes, 2021 is improved but as others are saying, we’ve got to add an alpha player or two in 2022. It is not at all evident she has an elite recruiter on staff.

I'm not sharing anything with you because you will only twist it around into something negative. You've already made up your mind. Theres over 300 posts that prove it.

Question? Everybody sees S Carolina, Kentucky and Tex A&M and Arkansas and see the type players and athletes they have. The kids that are brought up in this thread do people honestly believe these kids can compete vs the rosters of the four teams above?

According to this blog, Tennessee has several offers out to some of the elite players in the 2022 class. We'd all be celebrating if Tennessee can land a handful of these players.

Oddly, it doesn’t show Justine Pissott as a commitment or a target.
