I'm wondering if that's accurate. With all the local coverage on Weathers' playoff run they would list her offers: Belmont, MTSU, Vandy, Alabama, Kentucky, among some others... NEVER Tennessee. I find it hard to believe that's an oversight...

I see no reason to believe we wouldn't offer her if we didn't then were obviously in with some players we like better. Unless she signs with us we probably will never know.

Seems fairly obvious which side of Mississippi and which ocean shoreline she prefers.

Oftentimes location is a major factor in recruiting decisions. Can't blame schools located on opposite side of country for "failures" to land recruits in those cases.

Per her club team, Kellie offered Karly on June 1, 2019. I believe Kellie was hired on/near April 8, 2019, so Karly was one of her earlier targets in 2022.

Tennessee certainly did offer, but whether or not it still stands is still in question.

Would bet it does and like I mentioned earlier. Would not be shocked if the staff have asked them not to mention UT offers. Seems too strange that we have several targets and we’re all trying to figure out if they have an offer.

Seems someone was meddling in our recruiting so now we’re having to go incognito for a while. I can’t honestly think of any other reason we’d be hearing so little.

Tennessee did offer Karly. Just not sure how much contact they’ve had with her. And as a member of her “fan club” and a fan of the Lady Vols, I would love to see her play here. She’s a student of the game and the history of Lady Vol basketball means something to her. If she doesn’t and she plays in the SEC, I hope she hangs 20 on us every opportunity she gets and is successful.

She’s a talented kid who works her ass off. She makes her teammates better and they love her. Anyone with any intelligence would be a fan of a kid like her. The unintelligent ones sit on a fan board and talk crap about things they know nothing about in an effort to add meaning to what must be a slightly disappointing existence.

Sounds like a good kid... i hope she hangs 20 on us too but let’s be clear she can get 20 but if she is an opponent i will NEVER want a loss for the LVs.

One of the top players in the class of 24 i know but let me be clear she can have 40. but i just need her to take the L back to whatever locker room she needs

If she has an off, and the offer still stands (and it isn't a conditional one) and this is where she wants to be, what is taking her so long to verbal? We already have a play who verbal who seems to want to be here. Recruiting goes both ways. So although she might desire to play for the Lady Vols, it just might not be her top school.

The offer is silent because schools don't announce the offer. Athletes are free to announce the receipt of an offer. Some even announce 'ghost' offers to enhance their visibility.

It’s a link in Jaileyah Cotton and one is a video. Just talking about her coming back from a concussion after 2 1/2 months and having a breakout season. And the insight on what type of player she is. And although she’s not a current UT recruit as of now she’s interested in becoming a Lady Vol. Its a good read and her character fits well with the LV’s system.
