Would be nice. There are a few players available that we have a good shot at. If we make a run in the tournament it would help a ton. UCONN, Stanford, Maryland, SC and Oregon are all loaded at this point so if we put ourselves in good position we should attract someone who wants to make an impact. No idea who but I hope she’s tough!

Who starts at the 4 spot next year for the lady vols? Would be nice to pick up a legitimate contender with experience in a power conference in the transfer portal. Otherwise, Marta will probably get the nod. Will have to work in the offense on her strength and conditioning.

Likely Marta. If not her, then Keyen. Striplin will probably see time here as well. Not sure if the plan is to play Puckett at the 3 or 4, but she would be an option. But I think Marta starts and gets the bulk of the minutes.

Striplin will see very significant minutes,,,they will use Puckett for the speedier 4's...Marta has to acclimate to US basketball, which is not only different in structure and emphasis to US BB, but also called very differently in FIBA land.

In hindsight I wonder if Marta came in with the foot problem. The inability to practice full speed may have impacted her more than we know.

I was surprised to see her in the knee scooter since she seemed to be moving better during the SEC tournament. It will be interesting to learn just what her injury is. I was guessing plantar fascia but now I am staring to think she may have some kind of stress reaction in a bone.

I completely forgot about Keyen. Great energy and will take a charge when needed.

Well someone made a very pithy clap back to a Darth post which another poster called out as lacking in intellectual vigor. VAVol and I expressed our appreciation for the aforementioned clap back. The poster with obviously no sense of humor lost their S**t and said that VAVol and I were now on double secret probation and then all of a sudden all of those posts disappeared.

One thing this team doesn’t get much credit for. They never miss a beat. Marta was just starting to play well when she went out. Could have really bothered them, but they just moved on and played harder.

Smith is the big hope now. Rated number 18 by Blu Star she fell some in the rankings because of an injury. Very quick shot blocking big that can run the floor and finish shots. She reminds me a lot of Isabelle Harrison. If we could be lucky enough to get her and say a one of the guards we have offered this would be a really good class to join the 14th ranked Hoopgurlz class and 9th ranks Prospect Nation class. That is seven core players so find a top transfer or two and the sophomore class will be seniors would be a solid roster going forward.

Anyone else find it annoying that all of these recruiting videos are sped up? Seems they are all at 1.5x speed or 2.0x speed. I like to see them in real time so you can see how quick they are or how quick their shot is. Makes them look more athletic than they are.

Would rather watch a 1:30 video in real time over a :45 video on double speed.

The problem with Weathers recruiting is no one has a clue what teams she is interested in. If she had a top five would be more interested in following what she doing or where she is playing this summer. Right now all we've heard is her family loves Alabama so we'll see what happens with her as recruiting gets going again in May.

Aren't we doing Ok with Dariana Little Page Buggs she looks like a Davis type player to me rebounds has that Mid-Range jumper and Smith probably underrated because of her injury. I would take those two with Pissott and feel ok about the class. I think Buggs may be underrated in this class.
