She took risk on fact she could develop some local players. She didn't always get roster of top 5. Had mixtures of different talents. She develop them all into great players and won. Then she was able to get about any she wanted however still brought in players that she made great by developing them.

You have to work for what you want,,,If I knew they did want Jaloni, I'd go get her for them...I have a contact

Oh they want jaloni. She is a smooth point guard. All do respect jumper her dad run you off in heartbeat. She doesn't need any help. She will go wherever she wants. Waiting on 1 offer. She gets it that be where she goes.

Agree with her going where she wants to go ! Because of her bb skills....: she will have her choice !

She attends Ensworth High School . If you have a chance go take a look at their campus and facilities! Better than some colleges !
Big sis went to Vandy .... she will be able to get in the Duke’s and Stanford’s if she wants a superior education! This kid is a game changer and we would be lucky if she chooses UT ! JMO

She would definitely be a great asset to TN. I've seen film on her looks like she is an elite PG, just what we need. She facilities and scores. So we get her and add a couple elite 3 point shooters we will be set. Oh I hope we get her ... why the doubt she will choose TN.?

So both are waiting on UConn offers? Jaloni has an offer from everybody but UConn and maybe Stanford.

So as a staff why waste time on 2 players who are waiting for offers from certain programs and have made it known that there really isn't any interest in our program? I guess I am just different because if a person is constantly showing you or telling others they aren't interested in what you're offering, why waste time and energy on that player instead of focusing on players who want to be at your program.

Hopefully were not playing the waiting game with any player. Any offer we have given should be accepted on a first player willing to commit basis. If we thought enough of the player to offer I hope we are ready to accept immediately.

Well, agree but there’s still lots of recruiting time left for these players, especially Jaloni. Lots can happen within that time frame. As all of us are fully aware, an event can occur and a coach has to step down/leave their program. That event can/will completely change that program standing with recruits. Probably best to keep recruiting these highly ranked kids, just in case a 15-17 year old changes their mind.

I agree but we have seen over the years what waiting for a certain player has got us (2016 class where we only landed Kamara Harris, Shaquilla Nunn, and Cheridene Greene) We waited on Lauren Cox (#1), Joyner Holmes (#2), Erin Boley (#5), Tori McCoy (#10), and Kiara Lewis (#24)! Many of the players listed was often stated on here as long shots and that we had little to no chance yet we continued to pursue. Maybe if we focused our efforts elsewhere we might've had better success as non of the 3 we ended up landing played much for us (Cheridene and Nunn could've provided us far more than what they did but for some reason Holly rarely wanted to play them unless she had to).

100%. And if you only offer top kids, an extreme number of commitments like one poster suggested might happen is not realistic. Too many top kids will never come to the same school and if you get full you stop accepting anyone other than the very best. Only a handful of kids are guaranteed takes no matter when they decide which is another reason never to have a full roster given the absurd number of WBB scholarships.

Those times have passed. Can we get that back i have faith we can. Tennessee right now slow plays the ones that would commit on spot till they fall in love with something else. Its good in way to keep it hush but in another since why do it. Go out put the T on and get them. Stop slow playing and get one or two that bleed orange then set back wait on the stallion to come then at least you are not on 4th 5th option.
