I have seen Ashlyn Watkins play this year, Big time talent and big time skills and can defend. She is strong and with some serious leaping ability. I said before in a early post Tennessee has a shot at getting Watkins. Whoever get her she will start from day one. Watkins will play the 4 at the next level also can play the 3 because of her quickness. I also had a chance to watch some NJ talent today.

To be finalists for these players already shows what these new coaching additions have done. Y’all buckle up. It’s about to be LIT around here .

I agree, I still don’t think people understand just how valuable the staff additions are. I’m just excited to continue to watch the team grow. I think we will be something special by the 2023-2024 season.

agree, I haven't felt "secure" enough to leave the LV business to its employees until this year,,,what a relief

I’ll also say this . These are two coaches who can coach as well. They are not just recruiters . There’s a big difference, as I know Several of y’all understand , but they can coach and and make a huge difference. Kellie has this program trending upward quickly.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had that feeling, I almost forgot what it’s like. It’s very evident Kellie has a clear vision, you can pick up on that very quickly by the way the assistant coaches talk. Is it November yet?

Coach K has also done the one thing, in hiring her staff that I have waited for, she hired an Alpha coach.
You can look at Samantha and just know she is not one to be messed with.
Even in her attempts to be "cutesy" doing the Thursday TikTok thing, she comes across as no nonsense.
Just wait, VolNation,,,You'll now see the Jordan H you've been waiting on and you will also see Rae jump another level...They needed a coach Like Samantha.....Mark my words

That’s just a weird statement all the way around 🤣

Kellie seemingly handled business without your help and SHE made the additions... Kellie doesn’t get a lot of credit for her decisions but seemingly hiring these two ladies was a good one

I was much more involved with the CHW players and only with the recruits leading up to this year.
Until Coach K hired who she did, I was still unsure...IN Her corner, but still unsure.
But now, I feel much more confident. We now have assistants who can both coach and recruit.

I think Kellie is the alpha. You can see the way she commands her team and her coaches respect. Listen to how her coaches say they are following her lead and her vision. Also listen to how she challenged her team at the half of that SC game THAT is what got the game turned around lol... her team even said it

My favorite may have been when John was getting excited on the sideline and she sat him down. She knew who the boss was and so did he lol

I consider her an Alpha/Beta,,,She has both qualities...she is indeed a leader, but also has that players'-friend personality that Alpha coaches rarely have.

Pat was a true Alpha,,,her players loved her and respected her, joked with her, etc,,,but I can't remember any of them ever referring to her as a friend (while they played for her)

I agree that KD was overrated. She was supposed to be a sharpshooter but never really delivered. In her defense she didn’t see the floor enough to get into a rhythm. Great kid for sure but average. JP will have a much more impactful career. She is bigger and a better athlete. Excited for her to be in a Lady Vol uni!!!!

YoU don't do anything at Tennessee Jumper. Besides bug the crap out of players and coaches. Hate bust your bubble but you get on there nerves. Stop acting like you have any control of anything. Just be a great fan stop being something mental that you are not. You want to be a coach I get that. But buddy get out of the fantasy that you have any power at Tennessee. You will be ok. Just be a fan. Because at Tennessee that is all the power you have.
