I have seen weathers on film and a few times in person. I was not impressed she is a good player but I dont think she would of benifeted TN in any way. Just my opinion. We definitely wont and from the looks of things, no one we have added or are looking to add will be good since we didn't add Karly Weathers.
Samuelson is so much different imo. I'm telling you Justine does not like contact. I could throw 5ft 9 dogs at her she will not score
It seems as though every since Weathers committed to Alabama and it was said that we never offered by someone (I don't know if it was by the person I responded to) that we wont recruit players that play similar to how we play or that we focus too much on where players are ranked rather than what players can actually do.Wait... I don’t get it lol
Katie Lou was a freshman starter and the 4th leading scorer on the team behind the top 3 WNBA picks that year. She also won several FOY awards. Not to say that her game didn't improve each year after, but she was far from a situational-type player as a freshman.Go back and look at Katie Lou freshman year and how her game evolved she was situational also but blew up because her game expanded. Just saying. She was the Katie Lou she is now at first lol... Kortney also never handled the ball and passed either really
Justine may be great kid and I hope she great player at Tennessee but eye in sky doesn't lie. Watched the full game films I've seen 3 of them. Doesn't like contact. Doesn't move around much. Doesn't like get in there and bang. My opinion unless she gets tuff and that is hard to teach as player gets older. She will be a situational player at Tennessee. I'm going say Kourtney Dumbar type. Plus speed of SEC speeds up your thought process and can you make the shots then.

I’m still amazed at the continued references to Kortney Dunbar. Kortney was one of the most overrated players to ever step onto the floor for the Lady Vols. Supposedly, she was an effective long range shooter, but her career stats of 32% 3-point FG and 50% FT prove otherwise. She also only averaged 1.5 RPG, 0.2 assists per game, less than 3 PPG, and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 0.77. Kortney was a great kid but was nowhere close to being an SEC level player.
Comparing any recruit to Kortney is essentially saying they are mediocre at best.
