Walker and Laxalt are horrible candidates. Hundreds of thousands of people who voted for the Rs Kemp and Lombardo decided to split their ballot to vote for incompetent idiots such as Warnock, Masto...

If they "are/were just fine" they would have been able to win their elections. They were each opposed by vulnerable and deeply flawed candidates.

It is this sense of denial, and refusal to reflect, that leads to repeating mistakes. Republicans look foolishly stubborn and misguided right now.

The bad choices that Rs made in nominating for statewide elections (i.e governor or Senate) trickled down to the rest of the ticket to the House races.

See Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado.

The fact that two more years of Speaker Pelosi is a possibility should make Rs sick but some are too busy on their knees at Trump to care....

If it does end up being just a 219-216 margin in the House for Republicans ... Good lord.

That would mean the Republicans only gained 7 seats in a mid-term election year, when the Democrats were in power of the White House and both Chambers of Congress... with 40 year highs in inflation and violent crime, and a Democratic Party President with an approval rating between 41-43%.

There is no way to sugarcoat this. Republicans just flat out $hit the bed in this election cycle. And they will still celebrate Trump's Presidential run on Tuesday anyway. LOL. They have no clue about anything.

Democrats are ones to talk about the other side being misguided based on the slate of candidates they are running.

The mainstream media and your political party really has you brainwashed to the point that you even treat your political party as some sort of religion.

For the most part, those Democratic Party candidates won, even though they were facing strong political headwinds. There isn't much to lament from the left at this hour.

I hope Joe runs again and wins just so everyone will be convinced both elections were no doubt stolen. With an approval rating that will likely be 30% and still gets 80 mil votes will convince people that it was stolen.
