Then what numbers do you use?
Uros was 6th on the team in total rebounds this year. Olivier and Aidoo both had over 170. Santi and Phillips both had 150, and then Awaka who played 107 less total minutes surpassed Uros by 13 as well.
Uros was the worst big we had in rebounding on the season, and you can slice that up as a per game or total and it's still the same.
And the limited minutes argument isn't really valid, Uros is a 4th year player and HE is as responsible for his limited minutes as anyone else.
1. Because his rebounding isn't better
2. Because he is terrible at the FT line
3. Because he fouls so damn often (he was 3rd on the team with 68 fouls, despite playing 200 minutes less than everyone else except Awaka)
4. Because he leads the bigs in turnover % despite playing less minutes
If you look at the "per 100 possessions" advanced stats Uros actually lead the team in fouls too.
The refs. Every time Tennessee took the floor the opposing coaches just had to make a point to watch anything he did. We dont need that crap surrounding our program. Any perception of playing dirty even though we know Barnes doesnt play dirty. Uros was just a bad seed that needs to go.Whose microscope? If refs put fouls on Uros then that sets the tone for calling it tight in the paint when Aidoo hits the court. Aidoo gets abused in physical games.
According to sports Source on Sunday Vescovi can't get NIL money because is a foreign born player if he does money has to go to charity I am computer illiterate on how to paste it's on you tube Sunday April 2 first segment

That's the only honest thing you've said. He’s a physical player. They pick up fouls.
His rebounding rate is actually pretty good.
He’s a role player. Sometimes his minutes aren’t needed. He’s never exhibited whining about having a limited role.
A good measure of his turnover frequency would be incorporating his touches. He’s very active on offense. That’s the type of stat that the coaches gave access to. And they decide to play him while the game isn’t down to garbage time. When he’s on the floor he’s battling with the opponents top line players.
His “antics” also get key players on the opposing team to log fouls. Fouls created is another stat that coaches have available.
Man...Stackhouse is cleaning house or something?
5 Vandy players in the portal Myles Stute, Jordan Wright, Trey Thomas, Noah Shelby, & Malik Dia. Shelby & Dia both were freshmen and Shelby was a top 125 national player and a top 25 PG in last year's class (wonder if we'd be interested there?)
