Might as well consolidate everything into one thread.

For some reason, this seems like it may be one of the more calm off seasons

Here are the ones I know about/remember having already taken place-

UNC moves on from Mack Brown
FAU let's Tom Hermann go
Jim McElwain stepping down at Central Michigan

I would guess that West Virginia would open up early next week.
Neal ****ing sucks but him getting bowl eligibility keeps the complacent program complacent. He should be fired more than any coach in cfb due to the hatred of fans, **** results, Dooley clone personality, yet I'm sure we let him stay "another year" to go 6-6 and keep the cycle going. If they wanted to be serious they'd go all in on having Saban involve himself with WVU unofficially and get Rich Rod back in (he is forgiven for leaving)

This year is his first season since 2005 that he won't go bowling. In what world would Gundy be at risk of his job? lol

OSU would have to pay like $25m to buy him out

Dude, they went 3-9 and lost their last 9

I mean it wouldn't shock me if they kept him I guess, but this seems to be the time.

I don't know what to think about OSU at 3-9. Gundy coached there for 20 years now and his total record is really quite good. But yet this is the worst year ever for him.

I don’t think so. They’re already reached bowl eligibility. Most preseason prognostications had them as a 4-5 win team. So they’ve actually exceeded expectations. It won’t be entirely shocking if they moved on, but I think it’s expected that he’ll be back next year.

Pittman gets to return to Knoxville next season.

But a 3-9 season prevents Gundy from playing that "pay me or I'm gone game" that he plays every year.

I hope UT runs the score up on them next year in Neyland if they have the chance.

I'll be honest, I will gladly thank Arkansas with a close game that we ultimately win after the gift they gave us this season. We take care of business today and that Arkansas loss will be a blessing in disguise.

I’m sure that’s true but the man that had the final say isn’t alive so I’m sure there are some talks.
Not after one bad year. Now if it happens again next year, that's a different story.

Are you a fellow Mason?
