So you could have just replied yes. Yes. That would have been less work for you.I argued that there is nothing wrong with allowing Biden to simply be a figurehead with no responsibility for 6 months. In reality, that is likely what he has already been for at least 2 years anyway. He is seldom seen. Never conducts press conferences or meets with world leaders outside of NATO.
That the Democrats are showing a lack of respect for the democratic system of elections in the United States is one of the arguments that's being made here .... and Trump's antics from 2020 are highly relevant to such an argument.Yeah. It’s almost as if we are discussing this particular issue, while not bringing something that doesn’t have anything to do with this issue into the conversation.
But the Dems move currently makes their old argument trashThat the Democrats are showing a lack of respect for the democratic system of elections in the United States is one of the arguments that's being made here .... and Trump's antics from 2020 are highly relevant to such an argument.
I'm primarily laughing at all of the "not following the will of the voter" nonsense.lol you are the absurd one. I don't have any problem with him being removed from this election. He needs to be out today. Your party wants to have their cake and eat it too. Remove him but let him serve for 6 months is not a sane persons option. Call your party out. It's bs. Your party has had zero discussion about his removal
Naw. They got it all mapped out.But the Dems move currently makes their old argument trash
It's quite simple: if you don't believe Biden competent to run then you can't believe he's competent to serve.
You aren’t adhering to the Will of the voters.I'm primarily laughing at all of the "not following the will of the voter" nonsense.
And I'm confident my party has had plenty of discussion about Biden's removal.
In good hands? …. Kamala? …..With President Biden's future uncertain, a majority of Democrats say the country would be in good hands if his vice president were to take over the White House.
A new poll from the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that about six in 10 Democrats believe that Vice President Kamala Harris would do a good job as president herself. About two in 10 Democrats don’t believe she would, and another two in 10 say they don’t know enough to say.

New poll reveals what Democrats think of Harris as president

And there was LBJ, who was initially going to run for re-election in 1968, but then changed his mind due to a massive decline in his popularity due to public favor overwhelmingly turning against continued involvement in the Vietnam War. He decided not to run because he realized that he couldn't win.It is not completely unreasonable to conclude that he can finish this term but not complete another term.
Doesn’t this work out perfectly for them? Completely convenient. You would suck at politics
The voters have since rightfully concluded that Biden has declined to a point where it is no longer their will that he is the '24 candidate. You aren’t adhering to the Will of the voters.
You are responding to the Will of the people that responded to polls. The Will of the party leaders and the Will of the major donors.
The voters already voted. They voted for Biden.
You voted for Nikki Haley. I’m grateful your voice was heard.
So who did the voters vote to replace him with? The voters have since rightfully concluded that Biden has declined to a point where it is no longer their will that he is the '24 candidate.
He's not being replaced because of polling data, he is being replaced because he is unable to serve for four and a half more years.Doesn’t this work out perfectly for them? Completely convenient.
Biden gets to finish out the term.
He’s replaced on the ballot for the general election, citing polling data. He doesn’t step down, rather he’s just replaced by the party leaders.
And the will of the voters that overwhelmingly voted for Biden in the primary is in no way compromised because Obama, the polls, the party leaders, and donors all agree.
Democracy!!!!
What a F’ing joke!
He literally pointed to polling data as evidence.LOL
