A democratic system of elections is not supposed to involve a President pressuring his Vice President into refusing to call electoral college votes into roll from states that they lost, during the formal process of certification.

Republicans have no moral high ground on which to stand here, unless they were critical of Donald Trump's antics 4 years ago. Jesse Watters of Fox News had numerous opportunities to voice such criticism, but he never did.

.... but also acknowledge that the current Republican criticism of Democrats for not respecting the fact that Joe Biden won an election is hypocrisy and faux outrage. Republicans had no problem disrespecting Joe Biden's victory in 2020.

I already know from my years of posting here that none of you can bring yourselves to do that.

I don’t think the Republicans are any different, and would likely act in the same manner if in the same situation. And yes, there are the Trump ‘20 shenanigans to boot.

But again, it is the Democrats that have been fashioning themselves as the Defenders of Democracy. Not the Republicans. That’s where the laughs are coming from.

But again, there will be just as many laughs from the left over the faux outrage of Republicans criticizing Democrats for not respecting the fact that Joe Biden won an election.

It is an epic level of hypocrisy. I compared it to Mount Everest earlier ..... I think such hypocrisy actually makes Everest look like Mount Le Conte.

But it’s the Democrats, and their messaging tear they went on - coupled with their actions, now.

The Republicans have nothing to do with the Democrats prior messaging, and current actions.
