2024 Presidential Race

You keep wanting to make it about the Republicans, which is understandable.

But it’s the Democrats, and their messaging tear they went on - coupled with their actions, now.

The Republicans have nothing to do with the Democrats prior messaging, and current actions.
Classic denial of a problem.

... and the Democrats have nothing to do with the current words of Republicans.

Democrats had nothing to do with Donald Trump publicly pressuring Mike Pence into not calling the electoral college votes from 7 states they lost into roll during the formal process of certification. Trump was clearly showing no respect for the fact that Joe Biden won an election. The majority of Republicans either remained silent over that or they voiced support for it like JD Vance did.

This is faux outrage and colossal hypocrisy on display by Republicans. A self-aware and honest Republican would just shrug their shoulders right now and say, "Those a$$hole frauds just found a way to get even with us."

How is this not accurate? Do you have any say in who the candidate is?
I didn't say that it was inaccurate. It's not.

I'm saying that it's faux outrage.

Donald Trump's supporters don't honestly care if people who voted for Joe Biden feel disenfranchised if the outcome of an election that Biden actually won is overturned. That is exactly what Trump supporters were trying to make happen 4 years ago.

New York Times Board Wants Kamala Harris Out of the Race

The New York Times (NYT) editorial board wants Vice President Kamala Harris off the 2024 ticket because of “profound concerns” about her electability.

The push to dump the nation’s first black vice president was posted just after President Joe Biden announced he would not run in the 2024 election — and it could threaten Democratic turnout in November.

Then it dropped the hammer:

Pick the white guys over the black VP. Hypocrites.
Anybody who even suggests the possibility that the Democrats would put 2 white guys on their ticket is delusional and doesn't understand the current Dem party. Let's get in the real world

It will 100% be Kamala. The only question is who her running mate will be and it really won't make a difference. When was the last time that a running mate made a difference in a Presidential race? It doesn't happen

Whataboutism is one of his pillars.
Explaining why someone's outrage is obviously insincere, is not a what-about-ism.

Plain and simply put ....

Donald Trump's supporters obviously do not care if an election that Joe Biden truly won is overturned in an underhanded manner. It's what they tried like hell to do themselves.

Tulsi Gabbard After Biden Drops Out: Kamala Harris ‘Figurehead for the Deep State,’ ‘Maidservant of Hillary Clinton’

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) responded to President Joe Biden stepping out of the 2024 race, saying his possible successor Kamala Harris is the “new figurehead of the deep state.”

“Biden’s out, Kamala is in. Don’t be fooled: policies won’t change. Just like Biden wasn’t the one calling the shots, Kamala Harris won’t be either. She is the new figurehead for the deep state and the maidservant of Hillary Clinton, queen of the cabal of warmongers. They will continue their efforts to engulf the world in war and taking away our liberty,” she said in the caption.

Agreed. No one votes for the VP. Wouldn't even make sense to.

Who do you think your party will tell you to vote for? Kamala, or someone else?

If I had to put money on it .... I would say Kamala Harris.

I would much rather have just about anyone else. As I have said, my dream ticket would be :

Gov. Andy Beshear (Kentucky) ............... President
Gov. Roy Cooper (North Carolina) .......... Vice President

.... but that is probably more of a pipe dream than a dream.

They're waiting to hear more from the voters. Once the voters make their wishes clear, the party will know which direction to take.

But the bottom line is really very simple................ANYBODY BUT tRUMP

I agree it's probably Kamala because I could see her easily agreeing to be the puppet of Democrat leadership. But I also don't think she beats Trump. If the Dems really want to win, I think they need to make a better choice.

I don't see votes being cast. Are they going to call every single registered Democrat and ask them who they want? Of course not. So let's stop pretending this is being done in some democratic way. Party leadership will make the decision, and they'll most likely pick someone they can easily control. Someone like Kamala.

And yes, you've made it abundantly clear you'll vote for the D like an obedient Democrat.

I agree .... but I think Democrats have options that can win.

They should prioritize winning. Nobody helps you when they lose. Harris will probably lose. Trump would really have to do something stupid to blow it (but that is possible).

Cry us the Amazon River ....

A democratic system of elections is not supposed to involve a President pressuring his Vice President into refusing to call electoral college votes into roll from states that they lost, during the formal process of certification.

Republicans have no moral high ground on which to stand here, unless they were critical of Donald Trump's antics 4 years ago. Jesse Watters of Fox News had numerous opportunities to voice such criticism, but he never did.
Glad to see there are no limits to the compromises you’re willing to make so Trump won’t be the choice. It’s almost like you don’t have beliefs or values.
