However, to get a more accurate look at the race from Real Clear Polling, you should use their average among all polls, instead of just using Rasmussen Reports and a Harris X poll, which do tend to heavily favor Republicans. When you do that, Trump still has a lead, but it's not a route ....

(D) Kamala Harris ..... 46.2%

1.9% spread in Trump's favor.

Whenever they post polling data, they will always cherry-pick Rasmussen Reports. That is exactly what Trump used to do on Twitter while he was President.

The night before the 2020 Presidential Election Rasmussen Reports had Trump's job approval rating as 54% ...... He posted that and said "LANDSLIDE!!!!!!" beneath it.

Rasmussen has consistently (since candidates were announced) had Biden higher than almost every other poll. Haven't tracked Harris but Rasmussen has been more favorable to Biden than the average.

It's amazing things ran so smoothly the last few years then. Honestly, maybe we should just let this thing run on autopilot if that's true, because the economy is humming, our inflation is the best in the world and falling quickly, and the market is at an all-time high.

My job is great. Earnings have gone sky high, 401k is nice. Inflation is high but it's high everywhere (and much lower here than in other countries). I've been impressed quite frankly. I expected a much worse fallout from the pandemic and supply chain issues. The landing has been relatively soft. Sorry if things aren't good for you. Hope things turn around.
