I'm trying to imagine the look of ever increasing cringe on the faces of his staff the further along that clusterf went on yesterday. If you agree to something like that you have to prepare him to respond to hostile questions about his past comments. He has to be prepared to clarify/justify/retract, whatever strategy they decide, in order to come out looking cleaner than when he went in.

Instead he doubled down and told a bunch of black people that Harris just turned black and that immigrants were coming to take their jobs.

I honestly still think Trump will win but he's trying to prove me wrong with his stupid mouth.

For the record, Kamala Harris's father is a black man born in Jamaica.

Trump is accusing her of recently "turning black."

Kamala Harris attended Howard University as an undergraduate. That is a a historically black college.
As a Senator, Kamala Harris was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

It seems like Trump has noticed how his gains with black voters have gone away since Harris became the presumptive nominee, and he is frustrated by it. This will not help get them back. It's birtherism 2.0.

There he goes. All he has to do is stay on policy with her and use her own idiotic words against her. Crap like this is a no-win situation for Trump but he can’t help it.

They say the Democrats hold 6 of the 13 keys and Republicans hold 4 of the 13 but there is still a chance the Republicans win (i.e., we want Harris to win but are NOT sure).

Also, I think the one that the Historian got incorrect was Trump vs. Hillary.

Either way, it will be tough. Thanks primary to Chicago, New York City, and California, the Republicans will always be at a disadvantage in these national elections. These three areas always going blue gives Democrats a huge advantage. Texas and Florida help offset it but not entirely.
