I guess he will feel like a major hypocrit if he brought it up now. After what we saw after the Republicans won the House in 2023 and the time they made it to Congress, I think the likes of Mitch McConnell was undermining spending cuts and I'm not sure how obvious it was until then...at least for me. I could see a scenario where he acts instead of talks.

You can't cut the deficit without getting rid of some government services and some departments. The democrats keep expanding government intentionally.

Again all conservatives take the L if Harris gets in, not just the ones who voted for Trump.

Look I get it. People want to bitch and complain yet next to nobody changes their behavior and holds their nose and pulls the lever AGAINST the greater evil. I did that for several cycles. Nothing had changed. So I’m going to finally do something else.

I started with a vote for Gary Johnson in 2016. Then went Trump in 2020. This time the Libertarian just looks like a rebranded progressive to me so I had to find somebody else. There’s the Green Party but… damn really? Cmon man.

So Literally Anybody Else here we are. I have actually looked FOR a candidate. I’m comfortable with my pick.

Then the third parties need to offer up viable candidates and create national synergy. The only way to find synergy is a concensus or compromise on issues that can win a election with a entirely different constituency. Some of our ideological views will not win an election, so sacrifice or compromise must be made. It is how our system works, unless you want to vote for yourself.

I voted for Perot and would possibly vote for Ron Paul, but you have 2 viable choices this cycle, one that doesnt give you everything you desire in a candidate, and one that takes.

But hey, people get what they deserve.

Im done. not changing any minds on here, but just dont get it.

You know I’ve read you screeching at me for several posts now. I’ve told you I’m completely comfortable with my choice. And I’m gonna go ahead and point back and say you damn sure sound more like you’re trying to convince yourself than you are me at this point. I’ve made it pretty damn clear since we started this exchange I won’t vote for either one of them. So at this point who the hell are you really talking to, my dude?

If you live in TN or any other red state it doesn’t matter who you vote for. If you live in a blue state it doesn’t matter who you vote for.

The swing states are where it matters.

Yep! And @hog88 and I both already brought that up! But somehow the very continued existence of Democracy hangs on my vote in Texas for anybody other than the GOP candidate 🤷‍♂️
