My vote, however, for Harris here in North Carolina - is actually meaningful.

I’m from NC and will be voting Trump. My son and his girlfriend will be 1st time voters voting for Trump as well

As to your last paragraph, it seems that way to all those who have no interest in nuance. For the most part, it's not about being an elitist. It's about articulating distinction and details, which seems to be lost with those who only see things through a binary lens. Most of the time it's not as simple as either/or. Just my $0.02
