That's your problem. $7.8 trillion is the most commonly cited figure for what Trump added to the debt.. Sorry, it goes against your desired narrative.

Trump was in charge and responsible at a time when the economy did not need fiscal stimulus. It was outrageous.

BB85 may be correct. Trump assumed office Jan 2017 and budget year starts the prior Oct, but with no yearly budget, it is all very difficult to determine unless you want to analyze every appropriation bill.

Generally speaking, with budgets, Trump would be responsible for 2018-2021, but is does question if this debt is actual spending or appropriation.Very muddled.

Of course Congress is just as at fault, maybe even moreso imo, as they havethe POTP.

Thatsaid, as % of GDP, Deficits plateaued under Obama and Trump, and Biden made Covid spending almost normal. Yet Harris wants a Biden budget on steroids with trillions for CC as well as other BS.

@theaircurrent can confirm reports that the @GulfstreamAero G550 that former President Trump has been using to travel for campaign events was formerly owned by Jeffrey Epstein. The aircraft is now owned and operated by Threshold Aviation Group.

Walz retired on May 16, 2005. Walz's brigade received alert orders for mobilization on July 14, 2005, according to the National Guard and MPR News. The official mobilization report came the following month, and the unit mobilized and trained through the fall. It was finally deployed to Iraq in the spring of 2006.

Now, if Behrends (whatever the guy's name is) wants to make issue of the "carried a gun in war" comment? Fine. Have at it. Call it stolen valor, even.

However, to refer to this ^^^ as being a "desertion" is ridiculous, and it will distract from other more valid points of criticism.

Wikipedia has given Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz the false military rank of ‘Command Sergeant Major’ despite multiple reports noting he did not retire from his service in the National Guard with that title.

Social media users began sharing screenshots from Wikipedia noting that it listed him as a “Command Sergeant Major,” which has not been corrected as of this writing. For a period of time, it appeared that Trump VP pick J.D. Vance’s military had been temporarily edited before it was restored.
