If CNN said the exact same lies (including number) they are currently spouting about Kamala and Biden about Trump; while fox said the exact same lies (including number) they are currently spouting on Trump but for Kamala and Biden, you would have a COMPLETELY different attitude about which was acceptable.

you have made it clear that you will accept WHATEVER it takes to remove Trump. which naturally includes buying off on any lie you are told. and you have bought into, and pushed, multiple of them on this forum. even when presented with reality you never change a stance as long as it deals with Trump.

Lisa Hanson, a former wine and coffee bistro owner thrown into jail for violating Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s lockdown orders, told Fox News Digital that the now-Democratic vice presidential candidate essentially “shut down and destroyed” her small business, warning Americans, “You do not want tyranny at this level.”

A mother of eight children and soon to be 18 grandchildren, Hanson said besides a speeding ticket she received as a teenager, she had always been a law-abiding citizen and owned businesses with her husband for more than 30 years.

At the time the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing in 2020, Hanson said, the Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro in Albert Lea, about 90 miles south of Minneapolis, had been open for eight years.

Her wine and coffee bistro initially complied with the shutdown ordered that March.

However, Hanson said she watched for months afterward as Walz never fully reopened the state when it came to businesses deemed non-essential, such as bars, restaurants, gyms, dance studios and hair salons.

By contrast, the governor never shut down liquor stores, the “big box stores” or even strip clubs.

“He shut down a lot of the mom-and-pop shops, those folks that were just trying to make a living and provide a great product and a great service,” Hanson told Fox News Digital. “In contrast, he allowed big box stores, etc. to stay open. Really incredible, an incredible use of tyranny against the people.”

My position has always been they are closer to the middle than is Fox.

I think the success of Fox caused CNN to move further from the middle.
Fox has had a horribly negative impact on "news reporting".

I get what you are saying to a certain extent but as "strictly non biased" editors and boards aged out of newsrooms and we're replaced by those that leaned more to the ideologue side on the left it created a vacuum for unfiltered news. Instead of creating a better newsroom and editorial board they went the opposite direction.

They are no more or less harmful than those that lean left. Throw in attention span deficient population and you get MSNBC, Fox etc. CNN was the least partisan for a time but they did irreparable damage to their straight news brand during the Trump and early Biden presidencies.

They've tried to rebrand but the editorial room has been infected and their bias bleeds through even in straight news. In fact judging by recent headlines on their website they've appeared to give up completely.
