And that's fine. I actually agree Trump is bad for America. But the problem is it didn't matter to them how they did it. If you or I were a party to the things that took place to go after Trump we would be in prison and sued into permanent destitution.

That's my huge problem, ask we've done is ensure this game of one up, continues forever. The next president after either of these try current clowns are done will just be more of the same with even dirtier games playing out.

It’s what the left wanted. Couldn’t handle Trump taking down Hillary, so we have created havoc and division driven by MSM/Social media.

I don't see how it's shifting lanes. Why would a reporter be asking the government to clamp down on "misinformation"? Why aren't they asking their own editors?

I think the issue resides at the intersection of facts and what we don't want to believe.

Many of the trump supporters discount everything that is viewed as negative as biased reporting, lies or having an agenda. They've been trained to circle the victimization wagon instead of critically thinking.

They are just the same as the Dems. they hate the fake news, lies, and misinformation when it hurts their side.

when its their side doing it, they are all for it. neither side actually wants to see it fixed, they just want their turn being the bully.

the adult mindset in the GOP party officially died with Trump. it was on its last legs before, but Trump ended it. it was gone from the Dems before, which is why you saw so many GOP voters liking Trump because he was a Dem rebranded as an R, but acted like a Dem. Trump was the option to fight back, not be better, or actually avoid the issue. they wanted him because he crawled down in the muck and returned fire with the Dems. and the GOP has followed him gladly. they became the "I know you are, but what am I" party, with no real direction or leadership.

Its why the Dems stick to identity politics. you can't criticize them because its racist, sexit, agist, bigotry, whatever. they are the kids who hit you, and when you retaliate they go hide behind their parent. or are always calling timeout when something bad is about to happen to them. can't have a real adult conversation about why you think a secret bill that only like 5 people have seen shouldn't become law. No, any criticism whatsoever and you were racist against Obama if you didn't want ACA to happen.

Was that summer really mostly peaceful, or was billions in damage done across the whole country?
Is Kamala actually the best thing since sliced bread as now reported, or was the pre July reporting of her being dead weight fair and unbiased reporting?

both sides do it. neither side is worse. its purely a preferential thing. defending one or attacking one doesn't make sense and just feeds into the mechanism you are complaining about it.

it doesn't change when the other side change, it changes when you change. until that happens how can either side expect anything to actually change?

hint they don't, its far easier to keep us divided than to actually address common problems.

Of course to a certain extent, but Trump has probably been the most unique character upon the political scene in history. He has said things like no one before him. He has done things like no one before him. Sure some before him have said and done unsavory things, but Trump's compilation of it is exponentially more than anyone else

This is not the United Kingdom.
This is the United States.

The Washington Post asking the State to step in and censor someone is very much on brand for them, though.

Chappaquidic, a Kennedy kills a hooker he was undoubtedly sleeping with. Trump doesn't have jack that comes close to that. Pretty sure another Kennedy left a dead hooker in a hotel room, might have been the same one.

Clinton banged an intern while in office, maybe even literally. Trumps screwing around was all noted as before in office.

Obama sent the IRS after political enemies, and killed a US citizen.

Congress has a slush fund specifically to pay off sexual assault claims.

Trump being a dick is clearly the lesser of any of those.

Many of the wacko lefties I see the same thing. You discount the reality of the situation i.e. russia gate, pee gate, double masks, social distancing, j6, hilary payoffs, hilary email server, etc. as being true, or ignore it when you don't like what it means. Of course, without you actually pinpointing what you are talking about in particular it might be hard for one of them to address. Instead of saying "trump supporters", maybe stick to the facts and adequately explain what your specific issue is.... so an good discussion can take place.

You appear to be doing a similar thing instead of critically thinking.
