I understand your point but somewhat disagree.
To me it's that one ice cream has one part per million insect poop and one has 17 parts per million.

To claim that they are both simply ice creams with poop with no differentiation only leads to more poop in the ice creams of the future.

Whereas, if people make it a point to only purchase the ice cream with the least poop, then the incentive of ice cream manufactures will be to reduce the amount of poop.

I would say its more like 17 parts per million of insect poop in one, and 17 parts per million of bird poop in the other. and people are fighting over which type of poop is in their ice cream. they aren't actually pushing for one to be less poopy, they just want it to be their preferred poop.

now what I could respect is that you take particular exception to what one is lying about, pro Trump lies, and don't really care about what the second is lying about, pro Biden/Kamala lies. but that still boils down to partisan preference and isn't a material difference of which is BETTER. one is PREFERRED, but that doesn't make it better.

they both fall under my threshold of trustability, at least on matters of politics.

I think the success of Fox caused CNN to move further from the middle.
Fox has had a horribly negative impact on "news reporting".

actual evolution doesn't promise or result in the best. its results in the traits of those who breed the most often to dominate. "best" is not a requirement in the slightest. its literally just mob rules of genetics.

human evolution, and even of our society as a collective, can not objectively be considered the best. it is what happened, but that doesn't mean it was the best outcome. plenty of times you can look back at societal evolution and see complete collapses, and the liberal tendency of those collapses paints a different picture than you are painting.

Pretty much every major empire has collapsed from the inside attempting to be more "liberal" than it was in the past.

If CNN said the exact same lies (including number) they are currently spouting about Kamala and Biden about Trump; while fox said the exact same lies (including number) they are currently spouting on Trump but for Kamala and Biden, you would have a COMPLETELY different attitude about which was acceptable.

you have made it clear that you will accept WHATEVER it takes to remove Trump. which naturally includes buying off on any lie you are told. and you have bought into, and pushed, multiple of them on this forum. even when presented with reality you never change a stance as long as it deals with Trump.
