Neither will happen, historically when taxes go up revenue goes down and of course spending never goes down. Now knowing this why would you want anyone to be forced into having more money stolen by the government?

As to your second question, my answer is no. I would leave the middle class alone and raise taxes on the top tax bracket (those making over $609K) 5% to 42%. I would also put another tax bracket in for those making over about $1.5 mill. Tax them at 50%.

I would also cut spending in areas such as the elimination of the education dept

Eliminate all preferences in tax code. Flatten out brackets more.

Cut ALL discretionary federal spending by 40% or more

Essentially, you will be getting close to a flat tax with significant cuts to federal budget

No more Earned Income Tax Credit. No more state tax deduction. No more home interest deduction. No more carried interest. No more stock buyback tax. No more industry specific incentives. No more child tax credit. No taxing of 85% of your SS.

The only major preferences Im ok with is charity (helping with safety net) and dividends (already taxed).

As long as the FED keeps printing money backed by basically nothing but bonds that are backed by nothing but other worthless bonds, then nothing will change. Taxes don’t matter, deficits don’t matter, they just gonna print until the whole thing just collapses and the US dollar is worthless.

what sunk Biden was Trump staying silent during the debate, and allowing Biden to flounder. Trump didn't make any personal attacks or comments about Biden's wherewithal. Trump stuck to the issues and the Dems had nothing.

Trump could have done the same thing against Kamala, with very similar results after some reactionary movement in the polls after the swap.

but instead Trump has dropped the policy rhetoric, and started attacking his opponents on personal items. that is not going to win him an election. against anyone.

We had a perfectly fine will that was having a positive affect on the Border
We were not involved in any foreign conflicts because THERE WERE NONE.
Taxes were lower
Fuel prices were lower.

These are facts you don‘t want to admit. I wish we had had Trump over the last 3.5 years as we would be much better off.
