You act like Trump had some ability to control the narrative after Boden got dumped. Basically the MSM and social influencers have operated as a free 24 hour commercial for the Harris campaign. No tough questions, no investigative reporting, no pressing the campaign on any of the issues. The fawning cheerleading by the fawning and adoring press is unstoppable. I mean the MSM had already memory holes the fact that Trump came within a few mm of death a month ago for crying out loud. And the average voter is too naive to know that they are being played.
The only thing Trump can control is trying to get his name and message out there without relying on the media to be a gatekeeper

I would really love to know how much waste we have like the NASA/Boeing fiasco. NASA paid Boeing twice as much as they paid SpaceX, and got absolutely nothing for it. if anything all they got was a problem on the ISS they can't seem to fix.

willing to bet every single agency has stories of this. just sunk costs with no returns because they threw good money after bad, and let themselves get taken for a ride because there was a powerful political backer.

and instead of getting his message out. all he has done is attack Kamala on identity politics bs. Trump should be lapping her right now, hammering on her lack of policies and her lack of leadership in DC right now after they admitted Biden can't do the job.

Where I would blame Trump is that it appears that his team was not prepared to go after Harris. They certainly should have been. We all saw this coming months ago

I think the best blueprint we have for balancing the budget was Clinton and the late 1990s. They achieved this with tax increases, budget cuts (like welfare reform) and growth in the economy. I think that's what's going to have to happen

I think you need to look at the chart within your link a little harder, there were some major events that happened those years revenue went down making them the exception to the rule. Plus what happened with revenue in subsequent years after those small dips?

Tax increases aren't needed, expansion of the tax burden is needed along with entitlement reforms. The economy will take care of itself.
