I agree that a private business has the right to decide but I don’t agree they should have a shield from the liability associated with such decisions. If a social media company is making decisions on what to show and not show then they should be held accountable much like a publisher would be for what content they allow to be seen. For example, if they label something as a lie, have it suppressed and that suppression leads to harm because the info was actually true then the party harmed should have the right to sue. Right now that’s not the case. And I do agree we certainly see a lot of hypocrisy from people in and supporting both major parties.Of course. I've not suggested that the government be responsible for determining "truth." However, I do think that social media outlets be allowed to shut down whoever they feel like shutting down, for any reason they deem fit - up to and including misinformation and lies being propagated on their platform.
Donald trump called people who screeched about free speech "fools" when he saw value in the social media outlets shutting down speech he didn't like.
That's why I can't help but laugh at the hypocrisy of #fakenews guys now lining up to whine about censorship.
If you don't like either major party candidate that's fine and understandable. Then run yourself. Campaign for someone you do believe in. At least vote for that third party candidate that you do want to see in there. The more people that vote third party may influence others to do so down the line. Just sitting there and saying everyone else is the problem while you do absolutely nothing to improve the situation? Come on now.But isn't he doing something? He's boycotting the vote because he feels there's no candidate deserving of said vote.
I guarantee you some have tried to get Trump to shut up and I would guess those that have no longer work for him. No doubt he gets a lot of lies said about him by Dems and MSM but he’s certainly not the first to have that happen and all he does is feed that monster so it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. He just can’t control his mouth, almost like some form of Tourette’s. All it does is help to turn off any potential fence sitters (very small % of course) and, more importantly, energize the Dem voters to vote against him. He won’t win in November.I probably would vote for him if he didn't lie every time his mouth opened, brought decorum and reverence to the office and didn't feel the childish need to attack people with grade school nicknames.
As much as some people in here don't care about "mean tweets", character matters to lots of people. If trump and his handlers weren't so effing dumb, they'd recognize that, shut him up and win by a landslide.
I won't vote for KH because her policy's suck ass.
I'm OK with sitting this one out.

Just dealing with issues for Trump, there are things that leave an impression with the voters, truth or not that will not go away.
Crowd size comparison, makes no difference if they are AI or not it is what voters will see and believe, true or false.
Polls true or false show KH's momentum and again the voters will see it true or false.
KH's no solid platform, buzz words only and a few obvious ones.
Media will continue to hide other issues as well not giving Trump a solid attack point. Trump is running out of ammo. Age will be a factor as well.
The Dems can thank Trump for running off Biden. VP picks are probably a Toss up because both are kind of loss for the right words. Trump will continue to make statements and some will be true but they will be misinterpreted and some lies mixed into it.
DJT can't afford to keep his mouth shut now and a line of attack is a huge question mark. The only bobble I can see is the Democratic Convention but the Dems are Rope a Doping and it is a pretty good strategy.
We are not putting a former POTUS in prison. Everyone around him may go. But he won't. Even if that means a pardon is required
Oh the irony..............Up until recently I would have wholeheartedly agreed with this 100%, but the last couple of years have given me pause for thought about that. The left’s tactics and playbook as of late show that including prison for Trump is not the laughable no go assumption that it once was. I still don’t think it the most likely outcome, but I certainly wouldn’t be at all shocked either.
Who is the biggest producer of Narcan? I sense that as a growth drug. This is utter nonsense. Personal attacks are irrelevant. The policies I support mostly require no explanation:
- end reliance on energy from foreign (adversarial) nations
- border control (job flooding, fentanyl, terrorists, sex trafficking)
- preservation of 2nd A rights
- stronger international security (see: wars under B/H, disastrous Afgan withdrawal, etc)
- maintain states rights (including with abortion laws)
- smaller fed gov
- less government control of education system
- allow personal decisions on energy choices (EVs, appliances, etc)
Appvol posted a nice summary above
