It's much more of a somethingburger than the Great Paint Ball Massacre story.....which a bunch of nuts tried to wrongfully overhype yesterday.
This actually goes directly to trump's true character.
I think a lot of politicians (Trump bigly) get themselves in trouble trying to sound important / knowledgeable.Absolutely not.
When you look at what some of these Medal of Honor recipients did, you see extraordinary acts of self-sacrifice. Smothering grenades and taking actions which were not possible to survive .... just because those actions could save others. I can't believe anyone would compare the two awards.
Trump thought he could get away with having his campaign organize fraudulent votes and trying to organize a sham process to unlawfully use them to overturn an election that he lost. And I guess he was right, since he’s still the nominee and unlikely to end up convicted for anything related to this.I didn’t say that they are equally bad. I am saying that every one of these people will do whatever that think they can get away with to gain power. I also said they what they used to try to hide they now do openly because we look the other way so long as our guy wins.
Well, I want you to vote for Kamala Harris, of course. I'm sure we can count on you to do the right thing ....
.... and I want David Sanders Jr. to commit to Tennessee tomorrow afternoon. The #2 high school recruit in the Class of 2025 composite rankings on 247 sports. Big fish jumps in our boat tomorrow.

'Disqualifies himself': Veterans blast Trump for 'disrespectful' remarks about war heroes
Donald Trump sparked an outcry from military veterans and many others by proclaiming that the civilian Presidential Medal of Freedom as "better" than the Medal of Honor for military valor. The Republican presidential nominee praised Miriam Adelson, the widow of the late GOP megadonor Sheldon...www.rawstory.com
@volfanhill ....
There sure are a bunch of veterans choosing to be stupid over what Trump said. You should take a minute and educate those chowder heads on what Trump was really saying.
Yeah, a park and a cemetery could also have driveways, I just think it is redundant, except in ways that cause confusion. I think if you take it out, a reasonable person still understands that those driveways in public places are off limits but your own residential driveway is not.if there is a business run out of a house it would have a driveway. often the owner won't live there, they just operate out of a house. See it all over Buckhead, and pretty much any downtown once you get away from main grid. plenty of law offices, doctors or dentist offices, CPAs, barbers, nail salons, even boutique stores and restaurants. fully commercial use, just out of an old house.
some hotels are going to have a driveway, or a convention center type place.
Former Sen. Bob Kerrey (an actual Medal of Honor recipient and former Navy SEAL who served in Vietnam) tore Trump a new one on MSNBC. I hesitated to mention him, because he is a Democrat, and you will just accuse him of political bias too.3 (1 being a politician and the other Vindman) is not a bunch.

Thinking through it, apartment building and multi-family residential complexes have common areas and parking lots that make the private residential building question difficult, but I don’t think the indignation over this would be as justifiable if it happened in a common areas of multi-family housing.

Also, there was a Trump defender in that article, who said that nobody wanted the Medal of Honor, because it means you were either killed or critically injured. That's not always true. The most famous Medal of Honor recipient is probably Audie Murphy. He was credited with killing 241 Germans in World War II. He parlayed the fame he acquired from the honor into a long acting career after his service was over. He was a little guy too. Very doubtful he has that acting career if he hadn't been so highly regarded as a war hero.
.... and Drew Dix is still alive and well too. He received the Medal of Honor for heroic actions taken in Vietnam. I don't think he was ever even injured.

In 2016, Harris apparently didn’t think she could get away with the lawful act of persuading electoral college delegates to change their votes. In 2017, when 10 or so Democratic reps challenged electors from a handful states, their challenges failed because Harris and other Democrat senators didn’t believe they could get away with supporting them.
Even assuming that your post is true, Trump still clearly has the greater capacity for harm in this area. It makes no difference whether it’s because he’s more crooked or because people making dumb excuses allow him to get away with more.
I don’t think it’s actually true, though.
Harris’s record on this one thing is better than Trump’s, as shown above. To make it work, you have to tar her with guilt by association with the acts of other democrats. Applying that consistently means you would tar a Republican ticket of Romney and Cheney with the actions of the Trump campaign and the 127 Republicans who voted against recognition of the lawful electors in 2021? Both Romney and Cheney aligned with Trump on policy 75% or more of the time. Both were outspoken critics of Trump’s efforts to overturn the election. Neither signed objections to the electoral count. Both voted for approval of the legitimate electors from the challenged states. Both voted to impeach Trump for his actions. But under your theory, we have to assume they’ll do whatever they can get away with for their side to stay in power?
Nevermind the electoral count reform act…
I’m not trying to begrudge anybody their cynicism, but it ought to be tethered to reality, in my opinion.
I mentioned Murphy because he obviously wasn't killed or critically injured in World War II. He was shot 3 times, but fully recovered from his injuries, He definitely was glad to receive the Medal of Honor. It was directly attributable to the acting career he had.Kerrey has every right to hold the opinion he does, being a democrat doesn't matter.
I don't understand your mention of Murphy (he's dead) and Dix (I haven't seen anything from him).
I think a lot of politicians (Trump bigly) get themselves in trouble trying to sound important / knowledgeable.

I only mentioned Dix because by some way of miracle .... I don't think he was ever injured while mowing down Viet Cong.
Useless Trivia : There are 4 Medal of Honor recipients from Pueblo, Colorado. Drew Dix is one of them. That's a crazy high number for a town it's size.
Seriously? The fact that I separated him alone for additional criticism wasn't enough for you?Trump just bigly?
He's the definition of sounding self-important! That's the reason most people dislike him. Its not because of the chaos he represents, though that's real. It's not because of the racial dog whistles he uses, and that's also true.
Its because he's just plain, flat out, a braggart jerk.
And I’m not sure how you’re not understanding what I’m saying except that maybe you’re being intentionally obtuse to maintain a belief that clearly makes no sense.I'm not sure how you are not understanding what I said.
1. Anyone that wants to be president would follow bad advise to keep power.
2. I believe that they all ( anyone wanting to be president) are that way.
3. Democrats did pull shenanigans to remove Trump.
4. Democrats will drag us through hell if it means stopping Trump.
5. Both the parties base will go along as long as their guy wins.
I never said anything about other politicians trying to help Trump keep power. I will say that they did what they thought they needed to do to keep theirs. In fact, if I remember correctly Cheney was floating a presidential run at the time, no?
Seriously? The fact that I separated him alone for additional criticism wasn't enough for you?
How do you explain the "They're in it equal," remark?I'd rather receive the medal of freedom than the medal of honor... For the exact reasons that Trump mentioned in the quote. The spirit in which the remark was intended was not an issue, he just worded it like a dumbass.
