2024 Presidential Race

Yes, when Hitler was running in the 30s he was advocating more central control, spending and welfare. He wasn't running on a platform calling for the extermination of the Jews. He pretty much campaigned on a lot of the things you advocate. Learn some history.

I know more in my little pinky about WWII and Nazi Germany than your entire truck-driving bong-resin-filled brain.

Get a clue bro.

Hitler's platform as early as the 20's including nasty anti-Jew stuff.

You mistakenly believe that everyone is as narrowly focused on personal pocket book issues as you are.
Trump's popularity wasn't rooted in his economic policies and neither is the trump hatred.

It is easy looking back at it, but do you actually think that everyone that help put him in power knew what was coming? We would all like to think that we are above making bad decisions about leaders, but to many bad people have risen to power for it to be so simple. If Harris wins and we go full blown communist in the next ten years you would look as gullible as those who voted for Hitler.

True. Germany got screwed by the Treaty of Versailles. We and everyone else are responsible.

But, no, hopefully Harris' more stupid left policies won't take root.

No offense, but your old and will be living off the cheese before long. I would like to have an opportunity to see the fruits of my labor. So a socialist is a no go for me.
It's a shame the repubs couldn't do better than trump in 3 straight cycles.

People will suffering the negative consequences for years.

About like the Dem platform has been nasty anti-MAGA stuff.

And you have demonstrated time and time again that you have little knowledge or understanding of history.

the Dems could also just post up a decent candidate. pointing to one side's failure misses the point, and just ensures in 4 more years we will have this exact same conversation again.

heck you kicked out the primary winner, which is the one vote you personally care about. and then got to hand pick someone else, who you are personally not willing to actually support on their own. you have literally no reason to not have a better candidate you can actually get behind.

Hillter ran as a populist, restore the German pride and standing in the world. Make Germany Great Again.

He won office with that, he didn't win his first election threatening genocide.

Trump has done the same thing. Again, it's a matter of who you believe to be the lesser of 2 evils
or you could just not vote for either evil.

you know, actually vote FOR someone you are willing to admit you support.

instead we just get the never ending cycle of slightly worse candidates.

But what if they do? Few people thought Hitlers more extreme ideas in Mein Kampf would ever take root when he first won office.

Hitler didn't even win the presidential election. he was able to take his appointed, non-presidential, position and take over the presidency when the elected president was unable to proceed. almost sounds like.....

You mistakenly believe everyone is as weak, mentally unstable, and sensitive as you are. Nobody gives **** about your feelings. Having a decent job, an affordable home, food, etc aren’t narrow minded pocket book issues. Neither is wanting some sort of control at the border.

True, Hitler didn't win the 1932 election but the NAZI party gained enough seats to pressure Hindenburg (not sure of spelling) into appointing him Chancelor.
