2024 Presidential Race

The VP isn't the President. The other poster was asking for a comparison of policies. One has been in a position to make presidential policies, the other hasn't.

It's not that complicated.
It's fair to tie the VP to her President's policies. She's free to disassociate from them but if she doesn't do that, it's on her

They do not care. They know their base will only see that the benevolent government is going to give them $25,000. They have no clue about from where it comes nor what it will do to the market. They KNOW their base are idiots.
Not just that, they're asking for another lending crisis. They're trying to get people into homes who wouldn't otherwise qualify. Where have we seen that before? Did it turn out well?

It's not. Campaign platforms aren't actual policies though.

Anyone can run on a platform of no homework and longer recess. Implementing it is another story.

The question wasn't a question about what they are "promising."

Personally, I think they both suck ass, but the question was asking for a comparison of two things that aren't the same.
I wonder if you and the rest of you Leftists will bang on her for not enacting her promises with the same fervor as you do with Trump. You know how he told us Mexico would pay for the wall and all...

It isn't complicated. Which is why I am surprised you are complicating it.

OP:
Can someone fill me in on the policies Kamala has that are superior to Trump?

What has she done since being in office that is better than what Trump did? Does her success outweigh her failures?

Translation for Septic-speak....can anyone compare the policies of the two? And what is her record in office compared to Trumps?

You're making it unnecessarily complex by saying she didn't hold office. And further complicating by saying it isn't valid because she is VP and he was P. There are comparisons that are valid to make. I bet we made them between Gore and Bush 2 Electric Boogaloo.

I wonder if the credit default swap market will be as accessible this time around.

I'd love to get in on putting aa few big banks out of business.

Biden was getting all the blame up until he wasn't the nominee, is the current narrative that it was actually KH that was pulling the strings? And she's to be blamed for the Biden admin's policy's?

I don't know much about the Harris platform outside of the tax implications (which is a hard no from me) but comparing what Trump did versus what she "will" do is still a comparison of apples and bananas.
It's almost as if Biden and Harris ran together on the same ticket and are Pres and Vice Pres. You're not a good troll.

oof, it's a bad day to be Septic.

Policy proposals are worthy of discussion. I just googled kamala harris ...and "policies" autofilled.

Ok, forget that she has been the VP for nearly 4 years and not the president. From a presidential candidate perspective, what policies does she have that make her a better choice for presidency than other candidates? What is it that will drive people to vote for her over Trump? What is she actually planning to do for the country that is better than what Trump has done? She knows what the last few presidents have done and surely has plans to improve on what they've delivered. Does anyone know what she's planning to do for us that is better than what Trump has shown?

I've heard nothing from her since she was installed as the candidate. I'd like to know her plan.

I'd really like to know why she is a superior candidate for presidency over Trump. What are the facts about Trump that people do not like?
Watch Obama's speech from last night - it's on youtube

He lays out the differences very well.

I don't know what any of her policy platforms are outside of the tax issues, which was enough to make me not vote for her. I assume somebody could like that policy? Outside of that, she's not Trump - that's the ONLY reason I can see anyone wanting to pull the lever for her.
It seems pretty irresponsible to vote for someone just because you don't like the other candidate as a person (not you, generally speaking.)

Aside from Trump's personality (which is better than Kamala's anyway), I don't understand what people are seeing in Kamala that make her a better candidate for presidency.

I don't want to be a brainwashed voter, so I'm trying to look at both candidates rationally. I wish someone would give a real answer as to why they believe she is the best candidate we have.

I'd rather have someone a little less biased explain why they believe she is better. I wouldn't listen to George Bush tell me why Trump is a better candidate. The more I learn about Obama, the more I feel like distancing myself from anything he presents.
