It would be correct to say "an S" or "an H" but I'm pretty sure "an stupid" is not correct and that it's about how they sound. "an honorable" ___ would be a correct use of "an" because the first sound in the following word is essentially OBored 'er. (Reemed)
Bored, her? (Antsy)
From what I read, we do a terrible job with using "an" instead of "a".
One should use "an" when the SOUND of the 1st letter of the next word begins with a vowel, in addition to when its actually a vowel. That means every word starting with "S" or "H" should be preceeded by "an".
Say "S".... "eeeesssss"
Say "H".... " Aech"
We never use "an" with words that begin with S...and rarely H.
"You're an stupid liberal"
"LG's bunghole is an Superspreader."
Or H?
Komrade Kamala gives me an headache.
Big Mike is clearly an Hermaphrodite.
Seems so strange to me. Never hear anyone speak that way.
I am not sure this is right. I looked it up, but i am not sure if whether you use "an" is decided by the sound of pronouncing the letter...OR if its determined by the sound the letter makes IN the actual word.
For example, the letter S is pronounced "eesss" ...but in the above word "stupid" the sound that the letter S makes is "sss". So 1 way demands an "an" while the other would be "a". No wonder the English language is so hard to learn lmao.
Almost exactly the same reasons as you listed. I thought there would be at least one or 2 people who could explain why Kamala is the best candidate. Is there even 1-2 things she does better than him?Well, here's a shocker for ya...better hold on to your lugnuts...people hate Kamala and Joe for silly reasons, too.
Welcome to the Politics forum!
reading the OP, why would that question have been about ENACTED PRESIDENTIAL policies? You are adding the two bolded words. and there was no subtext to do such.It can be, and it would be a fair question. But that's not what was asked.
Don't try to move the goal posts and I won't have to twist.
@dalton_vol
Kamala has offered up other policies. She just announced a tax policy that was received with the same horror and disbelief as people watching the Hindenburg land.
For the 49% of the country that identify, or lean Dem, the answer is lengthy. For the 49% that identify as GOP, or lean that way, the answer is nonexistent.Almost exactly the same reasons as you listed. I thought there would be at least one or 2 people who could explain why Kamala is the best candidate. Is there even 1-2 things she does better than him?
I'm not them but I'll take a crack:What are a couple things she is better at?
Don't forget sex change surgeries for kidsI'm not them but I'll take a crack:
Wants gun control reform specifically around AR's
Wants the end of trump corporate tax cuts
Wants an increase in corporate tax rates
Wants a billionaires tax
Wants green energy initiatives
Wants to make abortion the law of the land at a federal level
Wants to bring back death tax
Wants a path way to citizenship for illegals
Now you may not like these. Better is in the eye of the beholder. I don't like these either. . But there is a stark difference between the two. Ideologically a large percent, damn close to 50%, agree with that platform. It's why Trump will lose. The middle 10% both sides are fighting for don't care for him, as long as his opponent doesn't have shat for brains, which is why Harris polls better than Biden.
I specifically gave you one, fine example.
Disparaging a Senator who was a POW, just because the Senator wasn't on board with him. Showing up at a NFL game for the national anthem to protest the protesters, knowing everyone already knew he didn't like it. The need to make it a spectacle was extremely divisive. Making a Christmas day appearance in the Middle East, and then unlike every President who had done it before him, made a political speech about how good he was to them, and then lying to their faces. It's a long list
I don't like Kamala Harris. I have repeatedly said for a month now that I think it was a mistake to anoint her as the party nominee. I would have much preferred Gov. Andy Beshear, Gov. Roy Cooper, Sen. Mark Kelly or Gov. Josh Shapiro. So you don't like the people who are not like you. What is it about Kamala that you like?
Exactly, you would have no problems voting for a communist. Two peas in a podI don't like Kamala Harris. I have repeatedly said for a month now that I think it was a mistake to anoint her as the party nominee. I would have much preferred Gov. Andy Beshear, Gov. Roy Cooper, Sen. Mark Kelly or Gov. Josh Shapiro.
However, in a choice between Harris and Trump, I have no qualms with voting for Harris.
