Had repubs really wanted a race decided on policies, they would have rejected trump from the beginning.

I'd rather have someone a little less biased explain why they believe she is better. I wouldn't listen to George Bush tell me why Trump is a better candidate. The more I learn about Obama, the more I feel like distancing myself from anything he presents.

The most common and true response will be "because she is not trump".
If you reject that as a valid reason because you do not understand why that is a valid reason, then nothing can be said.

I would say Trump is a lefty, most of the stuff he is saying is basic stuff within the realm of how the U.S. has been governed before most on this board were born.

You have already agreed that whoever they give you should be President, its just in the case of Trump they don't control both sides of the same coin. You will always vote for what they give you, others won't or don't want to.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, and that wouldn't be inappropriate, but those things do matter to some people. I think some people have determined that the POTUS doesn't really affect their lifestyle in any significant manner. Again, SOME, not all or even a majority. Certainly those that are heavily leveraged care much more. There seems to be far more grievances on cultural issues, which are in need of a major chill-out. This country was founded upon the principal of being a melting pot of differing views and lifestyles.

she was elected DA of San Francisco. She was elected attorney general of California in 2010 and reelected in 2014. Harris served as the junior U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021.
