Yea, I get what you're saying.....but the flip side seems more true.

Maybe try nominating someone who is not rightfully completely unacceptable to 52% of voters.

Decorum and respect for the rules of ANC override the photo op wishes from a gold star family. Especially ones where they're all giving a thumbs up and smiling. I've been there a number of times - it's hallowed ground, not a place to be used for politics.

As I said, you'd be frothing at the mouth if this were a democrat. Maybe someday you'll reconcile that a modicum of objectivity here would have saved you from looking like a partisan chump.

Hmmm if I remember correctly the pull out from Afghanistan was covered internationally and was called out by international media. The current administration should have and should still be called out on it. It led directly to Putin invading Ukraine. Should we not be calling out the current administration on this debacle and one that directly led to another World Power invading another country? Yes we absolutely should and it should not be a partisan call.

Our economic lives improved and were thriving under Trump. They have gotten worse under the Biden/Harris admin and the policies that have been presented are only going to make matters worse IMO.

Who should we believe cares about us most? The one who put in policies that provided net benefit for us or ones who put in policies that provided net decline?

Drilling won't help. The U.S. already exports the surplus of oil it produces.

Energy independence is predicated on the private markets willingness to build the infrastructure to refine the oil we already have.

You could argue that deregulating the process for oil companies to build refineries is what he'd do - but he didn't do that in his first term, what makes you think he'd do it now?

The only one is oil but the pipeline was years out. Abraham was simply money being paid off. The border wall with no real immigration reform is useless. The economic parts were from massive govt spending which is not a positive

Then covid exposed him as having almost no leadership qualities whatsoever

I get you’re upset. The former commander in chief had a picture with gold star families…it was a strong flex and it worked. Smiling and thumbs up has you wrecked. You’re playing “if this” as your stance for validity in your attack of the families wishes. Not a good look my guy. Let me recommend more red meat and squats to fire up the testosterone.

I completely agree with that! I got very upset when Trump was voted as the Republican nominee purely because there are a lot of people just like you who will vote against him because he is off-putting.

Take someone with a little more easier around the edges personality and slap the same policy/agenda as the previous Trump administration. I don't believe anyone within the Democratic party comes within sniffing distance of beating that.

So if you take away some of the off-putting personality what about his policies are unacceptable to 52% of voters. The policies put in place by his previous administration I personally felt where quite effective to providing a benefit for the majority of Americans.

Someone ought to explain to you how economy's work and that they don't operate in vacuums. Do you think inflation started at Biden's inauguration? The wanton spending that occurred during Trumps administration was the catalyst that deflated the value of the dollar. I'm not arguing it wasn't necessary due to the world economy and covid - but it happened on his watch. Let me ask you this, since inflation is slowing now - are you going to give credit to Trump if he wins or will you give it to KH?

Well, the one difference is that he has actually had the job before. So it is not like we have no idea of what his policies are. It’s like if you were a manager at a company and were considering rehiring a previous employee. You wouldn’t have nearly as many questions during the interview

the Dems should be absolutely running away with this. instead of focusing on a good candidate who would have buried Trump under Trump's own faults, and better policy; they have instead turned to someone who is fumbling it away almost as much with the hope that Trump out bads Kamala's bad.

So were we energy independent. Yes or no.
Regardless of money the Abraham Accords were put in place, Iran was muzzled and there was peace in the Middle East. Yes or no.
Border crossings were at an all time low. Yes or no.
Massive government spending did not come until the Covid pandemic which was unprecedented times. Prior to the pandemic there was moderate spending and economically speaking America was headed in the positive direction. Yes or no.

Covid exposed piss poor leadership qualities of many leaders across the globe especially those who refused to look at the data and pressure their leaders into bad decisions like what happened in the United States. There were no good decisions by anyone in that time except for Sweden at the beginning then even they got a little sideways.
