2024 Presidential Race

CNN has been hedging their bets lately. See Scott Jennings. They know which way the wind is blowing and don’t want to lose access when the Republicans take back power come January. Unlike ABC who is going to find themselves shut out
Which way is the wind blowing? Not towards Trump.

How do you go about identifying the party affiliation of the professors? Did they just randomly call professors and ask them? Seems sketchy.
It says they surveyed 5116. I imagine they asked them? No idea if the numbers are legit.

Do you believe college professors don’t lean left?

For one thing, I do not drink Jim Beam. It's horse pi$$. I drink Crown Royal.

As far as not believing in the diary goes .... that was mostly from not trusting the couple who discovered the diary, for obvious reasons. They clearly saw it as an opportunity to make money from the moment they found it, and therefore, had every incentive in the world to tamper with it, if it didn't include any salacious content. The diary was also in possession of Project Veritas in between the time Ashley Biden last had it, and when it was handed over to the police. They have an established history of tampering with evidence and bribing witnesses to lie for them. So, being skeptical of the authenticity of the contents of the diary was not an unreasonable position to take based on those facts. I didn't need a source of news to be skeptical of it .... I was skeptical of it on my own.

But if it's legit? I can at least admit when I was wrong. That is more than what can be said for the Cult of Trump 2020 Presidential Election deniers on here.

If times get too tough might want to try Canadian Hunter.

Who cares though? If anything, hopefully that would drive Republicans to get out and vote. Things are so tribal right now that I’d guess we’re in for a close race no matter what. Trump, as he said one time, could shoot someone and Harris could go back to all the hard left takes she had previously and it would still be close.

Tell you what. You drive over to East Tennessee and Western North Carolina and see who the most prevalent workers are who are feeding people, cleaning up debris, and helping out. It will NOT be government bureaucrats. It will be those humble Jesus followers from congregations all over America. And most of them will be from Red States.
Do you have any INKLING just how much Churches and religions charities do to feed, clothe, treat, and house people do each year?
So frankly, I don’t think you have the slightest idea what you are going on about. Yeah, there are loud mouth people calling themselves Christians but not acting like it. But 90% of the folks are quite humble people who quietly go about doing the Lord’s work, not seeking the lime light because they aren’t doing it for praise from
Men.
I Fear you have let your political hatred of conservatives cloud your vision in this matter. The Church (capital C, the body of all believers) is not a political movement, despite people on both sides of the aisle trying to claim it as their own. God’s work transcends politics, race, nationality, sex, economic status, or any other category that man dreams up. Yes it is full of imperfect people and has plenty of charlatans and con men. But you wouldn’t recognize what society looked like without it.
You're feeling pretty self righteous now I see. Republicans have always hated the poor. Read your own response then get back to me on the hatred part. I'm sure you've read the insults hurled my way.

Do you think it’s Democrats leading the way for mission work internationally? Yes, democrats are part of mission works, greater part of those Bible Belt Churches vote Red. All those races you mentioned are touched by Republican led mission work. Might want to do a self check reflection on your own views and mission demographics. Don’t pass that homeless on the street tomorrow without rereading your post.
And you think I do pass the homeless

Really touched a nerve, reality/truth does that. Defend away, truth stands
Really guys...this stuff is super easy to source.

"Our meta-analysis results suggest that political conservatives are significantly more charitable than liberals at an overall level, but the relationship between political ideology and charitable giving varies under different scenarios".

Yes, I know my own posts are often too mean. I try to always make them about a person’s ideas and not the person himself; but I fail in that far too often. And I apologize for the many times that I have probably done that to you.
There are a lot of really good and caring people on the left who just have some very unrealistic views. I want to point out the flaws in these views but sometimes that crosss over the line and attacks the person themselves. I am wrong when I do this.
As to your assertion that “the Republicans have always hated the poor”, there is frankly no way to prove or disprove that statement; but I hope you did see the article I linked about the study that indicated that Republican areas of the country appear to give more per person to charity than the blue regions.
