Nope. The income tax should be constitutionally banned and the federal government funded through tariffs and fees.

I see nothing wrong with corporate income tax which is the real basis of the income tax. Individuals really should not be concerned with taxes at the federal level, unfortunate the States got involved in the game.

Trump and Harris offer a lot of crap of which a normal voter has to weigh if offering will be proposed, approved, or just a campaign statement. Some run with a candidate's proposal like it is going to happen as if a King or Queen states so be it.

Most that are complaining about the National debt are contradicting themselves with their vote. Furthermore, most of this will have to make it through the Congressional process. The big giveaway. Nobody wants the truth anymore.

This nation will elect the next President based on feel good statements, broken promises, and lies. Promises that sound good, but when you look into the impact of what is being promise it just isn't that great or life changing and is going to cost more money than it saves.

There are no magic wands, no Kings or Queens. In this case, with these two candidates, there is just "Never, Never Land"

I don't think Trump allowing people to write off the cost of a generator is going to collapse the economy. if the politicians are really concerned about what is bankrupting the country then go after the real problems starting with the entitlements as SS/Medicare.
