2024 Presidential Race

You need 10 commandments to tell you those things are right? It’s a religious tool. Plenty of atheists honor their parents, plenty of Christians don’t, and plenty of atheists don’t. If you’re going to include one religion then include them all. But I’m sure you’d have an issue with that, hypocrisy at its finest. But my religion is right the other 5 million are wrong! Classic
There is only 1 true God.

Well 90% of our culture is Christian. Go read about any time period prior to the 1900s. Read about the stinking Pilgrims and early New England. The Ivy League schools were founding by Puritans to train preachers. Heck the University system and our entire education process was developed out of Medieval Catholic Monasteries.
If you’re going to include one religion to be forced in schools, you gotta include them all.

My problem with Trump is he wants Christianity in public schools. Not all of us believe the same things. Things like the Ten Commandments shouldn’t be on walls and plastered around public schools. Private schools sure, parents send them there partially for that reason and it’s a choice. Hopefully that can of worms isn’t opened but he’s hinted to it

You’re speaking from a woke general sense…im
Not saying you’re woke but I’m taking it as “we must accept” and he does it’s just Christianity was the common founding religion of this nation and was built on those same principles.it’s been taken out of schools.gender choice and equality of love is love has been the push here from the democrats on young children who don’t know any better at their age..that’s why you’re there as a parent showing them the right from wrong.they’ve made it their priority to overstep you as a parent and that’s wrong..trump has never been against other religions it’s just this nation % wise is more Christianity

I see it being valuable for History class. How can you teach history of the Middle East or Medieval Europe without talking about religion?
There's a difference between teaching religious texts as historical and literary documents as opposed to forcing kids to pray or recite commandments. I think that is what he was getting at, and he's right.

Indeed. Trump building a coalition of a few people outside the party is interesting, though.

No way Trump wins this one without Musk, Kennedy etc. Lots of young people came with them.

Gotta praise the black voters too. He doesn't win this election without record support from those folks again. Hispanics too.
