Not really. Christianity has had a very intimate role in the formation of the 13 Colonies, United States, and our Nation's history. It is referenced in many of our historical speeches by past President's, etc. Prior to that, it was pretty much the faith of our European ancestors for over 1000 years.

George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John Adam's, and so forth all cited to their Christian faith multiple times.

There is a difference.

I didn't say "no religion" in school. I said approach it in the right context, from a historical and literary perspective. You can't talk about Western history without talking about Abrahamic religions.

And all of those holidays are also intimately tied to pagan traditions, they aren't just Christian holidays. I mean, I know Jews that celebrate Christmas lol. It is a religious and secular holiday.
