Not really. Christianity has had a very intimate role in the formation of the 13 Colonies, United States, and our Nation's history. It is referenced in many of our historical speeches by past President's, etc. Prior to that, it was pretty much the faith of our European ancestors for over 1000 years.The other million gods aren’t imaginary either. See how that works? Anyways, keep religion out of public schools. If they were forcing a different religion you’d riot over it, you are a hypocrite.
That is not why the Ten Commandments are posted, and you know it.No one is going to put Bible Class in school or make people recite Ten Commandments. However, if it is posted in context of historical views, than so be it
Under your logic, why don't we stop celebrating Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving? All 3 are intimately tied to Christianity. So is Saint Patrick's day as well. Should we work and have school on those days?
