Yeah not really. The ff were very carful with that. It absolutely has no place in public schoolsYou’re speaking from a woke general sense…im
Not saying you’re woke but I’m taking it as “we must accept” and he does it’s just Christianity was the common founding religion of this nation and was built on those same principles.
There's a difference between teaching religious texts as historical and literary documents as opposed to forcing kids to pray or recite commandments. I think that is what he was getting at, and he's right.
You need 10 commandments to tell you those things are right? It’s a religious tool. Plenty of atheists honor their parents, plenty of Christians don’t, and plenty of atheists don’t. If you’re going to include one religion then include them all. But I’m sure you’d have an issue with that, hypocrisy at its finest. But my religion is right the other 5 million are wrong! Classic
Such anger
Although I don’t believe in the reasons for those things, I do think they’re fun vital parts of childhood for children. The experience of those things. I will give my kids Christmas and Easter bunny etc etcWhat about public schools acknowledging Christmas, Easter, Saint Patrick's Day, and Thanksgiving? Do you have issues with that?
