I hope Trump focuses on the good of our country when he takes over in January and not on retribution against his perceived enemies.

So you hope Trump becomes something he’s never been before in his 70 something years on earth? Both parties have their die hard supporters, but the president typically is elected by the moderates in the middle. Trump won in 2016 because the moderates didn’t want Hillary and he won last night because they didn’t want Kamala.

I long for a reasoned presidential candidate with class & dignity. Someone who runs strictly on a policy platform with concrete plans on how to address problems in our country. Not sure if the circus that our media and political party leaders have become will allow it.

Outside of an after school club, religion shouldn’t be pushed or taught in public school unless it’s in the context of its role in certain historical events. Same goes for LGBTQ or other mostly social issues. Math, science, reading, writing, history, etc. and educating our kids to compete with the world and contribute to our economy should first and paramount.
