Agreed. After all, those ideas had "bipartisan support" since the D candidate agreed with the ideas.Every Trump tax position that Harris parroted, like no tax on tips for example, should be presented by MAGA Republicans in a straightforward single item bill with no extra fluff.
Force the Dems to either support and pass her stated policy promises or out themselves as lying turds and make them publicly explain that to their voters by playing the video clips of her campaign promises.
Maybe that’s what they want, but what we really get is Taylor Swift and the Hollywood elites actually serve the true elites who own more than most people can comprehend.I feel like the left wants us to slave away so that people like Taylor Swift, the Kardashians, George Clooney, or Billie Eilish can live the high life. They are the party of celebrities and the college professors (who have never had a real job).
Ha I appreciate your owning of the moniker. So here's the actual "top 5" per an amalgamation of historian surveys (via Wiki). Believe it. Don't believe it.
Lincoln
FDR
Washington
Jefferson
Roosevelt
The latest survey had Trump at dead last - overtaking Andrew Johnson. Kudos!
Shoot the messenger. IDGAF.
Hopefully, Trump will actually hire some knowledgeable cabinet members this time instead of a bunch of yes-men... but he probably won't. It's all about The Donald.
I've grown to like Van Jones as a political commentator over the years. He's sharp and insightful, rarely knee jerk, usually has well thought out positions with reasoning..... Not that I always agree. But I enjoy his perspectives.Van Jones
"The elitism has gotten so bad we didn't even understand where the working class was."
Hey he got it!
I hope this is tongue in cheek.......My new resolution.
I plan to stop giving liberals any advice or insights as to why they lost. I want them to keep doing EXACTLY what they did this time around.
You guys got this!!!! Don’t change a thing
Yeah. @hog88 is ignorant.Your ignorance never ceases to amaze me, Hogg.
Next time you have surgery (probably a quadruple bypass), be sure to demand that your surgeon, anesthesiologist and crew of nurses all take off their "face diapers" while operating on you.
DEMAND it, Hogg. You. Know. Best.
Or, as you might say, "Y'all smarty-pants know-nothins better git your face diapers in that there trash can else I'm a gunna went and git my semi and drove all on y'alls yards and learn y'all a lesson!"

Brown people voted for the racist are such salty tears.Read an op-ed on CNN.Com, of all places.
Thought writer did a good job of putting blame where it needed to be.
Truth is - the base was always going to vote. According to her own people, there was infighting.
Told my family during campaign, Trump was everywhere. There wasnt one day where he was NOT in the news cycle.
Article says her own staff kept her boxed up. Had to minimize the amount of public appearances for Tim Walz, bc she would never be overshadowed.
Said she had to prep for days for an appearance. Says newfound 'confidence' and momentum after Trump debate evaporated. Says they nipped at each other, and campaign never got off the ground. Her confidence wained, and perhaps self esteem or what not, she fell back to these 'Democratic back patting' appearances.
Recall seeing her Cooper interview and thinking WTF?
And then there was issue of Biden. The elephant in room. Two steps forward, three steps back. Couldnt congeal far left, bc of Israel. Didnt appeal to male voters, esp new voters.
To me writing on wall was when hispanics and blacks said they were voting for a racist.
This time it wasnt really what the Dems didnt do. Its what Trump did do. He beat her ass.
How about you demand your next surgeon be a DEI hire?Your ignorance never ceases to amaze me, Hogg.

Only partly. I too want two healthy parties; but I don’t see the progressive party being viable until they admit that they have totally lost their way. Tweaking the edges of the democrat party will not get it done and watching the after election musing from the left; they are still blaming sexism, racism, and „failure to get message across“ for their loss.I hope this is tongue in cheek.......
I want two solid healthy parties. I want tough battles fought for our presidency. I didn't want flawed candidates for either party. Because your guy or gal ain't always gonna win.

Until they admit that their ideas of identity politics and division just aren’t being accepted by most Americans anymore; they will not change.
The current democrat party has to keep losing until the truth sinks in. The problem ISN’T with us, the voters. The problem is with them, the party:
It is a critical time. Four years that will determine the future. If Trump can get the economy back on track and continue to make gains with minorities; this would be a generational realignment. Especially if Vance can solidify the recent flip of PA, MI, and WI.To be fair, I also think the economy played a part. If the economy is very bad in 2028, people are likely to vote the Democrats back in over the Republicans.
