The recent uptick in refusal of childhood vaccinations can be laid entirely at the feet of the CDC and other public health officials, whose atrocious, propaganda-style handling of COVID cratered trust in public health for decades. People are asking questions like, "If I know they were lying to me about the COVID vaccine and masking, etc, then why should I believe them when they tell me these other vaccines are good and safe for my child?" We still don't even know the full effects of what they did to stunt childhood development, with absolutely no data or evidence to back it up. It's a travesty and if the only thing Trump did in the next 4 years was draining the public health swamp I think I'd buy a MAGA hat.

I have taken care of children for 23 years, now. Without any shadow of a doubt, vaccine hesitancy has been primarily a "liberal" phenomenon, at least until the CV19 pandemic.

Once the free-thinking, anti-establishment, progressive party was told to trust the science by wearing a mask, keeping kids out of school, and taking experimental shots to cure COVID, there was somewhat of a shift.

Now, I see about an equal number of non-vaccinators on each side.

the did better (at least economically) under his first term than they did during Biden's. Also, they are likely better judges of who will help/hurt them.

You might find it interesting that there have been studies comparing surgical wound infections with and without masked surgical staff. There is no benefit to the patient. Surgical masks are designed solely to keep debris off the face.
