You were educated, but you didn't learn anythingI had no clue who Che was. And I went to school in the 70's - received a great education.
I'm about to conclude that Che is yet one more, among many, boogeymen to the right-wing.
I looked him up - nothing that makes him a big historical figure worth noting.
How many times did you post in 2024 that Trump was unelectable? In 2004 I was told Dems would never win another national election
In 2008 I was told Republicans would never win another national election
In 2016 I was told Dems would never win another national election
In 2020 I was told Republicans would never win another national election
In 2024 here you are
Stop. The middle 10% in a few states decide these things. Dems when hold all three branches again at some point in the next 16 years. History says so. Actually history would suggest in the next 6 it will happen

Hopefully not a HISTORY teacherApparently Luther didn't know. Which I actually believe. It is easier to understand people at the extremes (either direction) when I realize they don't understand the horrors inflicted by the extremes. Not knowing Che makes leftist ideology more palatable, I surmise.
I also learned Luther is/has been a teacher. That also makes sense to me. I have often read Luther's posts and thought his positions and rationale sounded exactly like so many of my teacher friends' positions and reasoning.
We all learned things today.![]()
Che isn’t critical knowledge by any sense; but it is quite surprising that someone who follows politics as much as you do wouldn’t know of him.I had no clue who Che was. And I went to school in the 70's - received a great education.

And his cultural relevance to young socialist leaning college age kids is quite impactful.
Of course they don’t know enough about him to appreciate the irony of claiming to be against racism and homophobia whilst parading around with a picture of Che on their chest
